Run! Do not lose your money! They take your orders online and claim it takes 10-15 business days for them to make it. When you contact them they say they are don't have supplies from their suppliers. They can't give you any sort of time frame on when you'll get it. They ask if I want the owner Steve to call me. I say yes. Do I get a call? Nope. Then I email to ask and they say he's driving so he can't​ call. Here I am another week late with no call. So it's clear they don't care if they have your money. So I ask for a refund. No response. Send it again. No response. So here I am. I tried to give them a chance but when you don't care enough to respond to people who you took money from then you get to hear my opinion of your companies. I will be filing a charge back and will make to let others know. They do not ever answer the phone. Don't even try. They don't respond to emails they don't like clearly. And apparently Steve Tristan does not ever stop driving because gin driving was the whole reason he couldn't call me. Well don't call me. Just refund me before I do the chargeback. ​I know what a pain it is to deal with chargebacks as a company so I will give you another 3 business days to email me and let me know you're refunding me. I own a construction company and I have used Best Custom Screens a few times now. They have great prices compared to their competitors. That is a big plus because when you are in business or even a home owner you are always trying to save $$$. I placed a service request a few times when I was stuck on a project were I was not sure what to do and they did a great job. I will add that you do have to call them to make sure you are on their schedule and they will take care of you. To be honest their service is still better then some other companies I called that will put you on a waiting list for a long time. Other then that I like them and their products are good. So far, they are appearing disorganized, and non-professional in the videos(some young kid trying to show how to do things...goofy!!). I don't typically leave reviews but my experience with this business was so terrible I feel compelled to warn others. I needed to replace my sliding door screen. I usually purchase a universal door from our local ace. But this time I wanted to upgrade to something nicer. I'm a mother of two young children and I suffer from joint problems. So I needed a quality door that I could slide easily. I purchased my screen door with the reinforced pet upgrade. When I received my order the screen was severely damaged. It had only been shipped in a thin wooden frame covered with plastic. The entire middle was bent and unrepairable. I first reached out to the team in the beginning of November. I spoke with Miguel and sent pictures of the damaged screen. I was told the pics would be reviewed and a replacement would than be sent once approved. I received no follow up or response. I called again in December and Miguel told me the same thing. At that point I was growing frustrated as I couldn't easily open my door for my kids or dog because of the bent screen. What followed was several more calls and e-mails to Miguel & Kaiyum (manager). They both just kept giving me the run around that it would be forwarded for review. No real concern or offer to help me. As a disabled mother I just couldn't believe how much of my time was wasted with this company. This is absolutely no way to treat your paying customers! On my last call in February to the manager I told him I would be filing a claim with my credit card company. Only than did he say he would make sure a replacement was sent and would follow up with me when it was done. He never called back but I did receive an email that a order was completed. I received a new screen in late February, 4 months after my first phone call. The screen was better packaged so it was not bent this time. But it did not come with the upgraded pet screen that I originally paid for. But I refuse to make contact with this company again. I will just take the loss at this point as it's not worth my time. But I will never order from them again! If you read this far, my recommendation is to order local in case there's an issue because if you go through this company be ready to commit to 10+ e-mails/phone calls over 4 months to get anything solved. I ordered a sliding door screen and 2 window screens on 6/10. I hadn't seen any communication since the original auto "we got your order" email. Finally, the end of June I called and was told that they were still in production, and would probably be ready the following week. Fast forward 2 more weeks, I email on Wednesday, 7/14 and am told that the screens are done and should ship by Friday. It is now 7/23, and still no screens, or any notification of them shipping, and no response to several more emails. Their communication is terrible, and customer service non existent. I purchased using PayPal, and am very close to putting in a claim for non delivery of the items. I would suggest going elsewhere with your business. read more

It was then installed incorrectly, and it took Steve over a year to return a second time an install it once again incorrectly. I got a quote from our local screen company for two custom screen doors. It was over $1,000 because the doors were odd sizes. My wife searched and couldn't find anyone who could provide the taller screen doors. We finally found "Best Custom Screens Shop". I ordered and the lead time was 3-5 weeks. I wrote this off to the pandemic (everything takes much longer due to supply chain issues). The screen doors showed up on our driveway 4 days later. We were shocked. I installed them myself and saved half the cost of my earlier quote. I've installed a number of screen doors on our house and have to say that these are good quality and fit perfectly. I couldn't be happier. I'm surprised by some of the other reviews. While I didn't need to use their support, my experience with the company was exceptional. I highly suggest you watch the videos to get help on installation. They are very useful. My first door took a while because I went slow to make sure I installed it right. Best Custom Screens is an outstanding company from which to purchase custom screens. Their wait time is a bit protracted but the results make up for any delay. The screens are of nice quality, appear durable and are easily installed. I am equally impressed with their packaging. It too was outstanding and over the top. The screens were wrapped and encased in a wooden frame that was covered in thick cardboard. There was little chance of them being damaged in transit. I found Robby easy to work with. I contacted to get them to fix the new door but they wanted to charge me about $200 to come out and repair a brand new door. I couldn't believe it. Eventually, I got a quote from a company for $900 for two screens and an aluminum meeting rail. No way. I hung up and googled 'aluminum meeting rail' and found Best Custom Screens. I purchased two screens and, you guessed it, the elusive aluminum meeting rail. My doors were packaged and shipped and arrived in perfect condition. They took a great deal of care when packaging the screens. I couldn't figure out how to install the aluminum meeting rail, so I called and they took the time to explain it to me. I ordered my screen door on May 29, 2021 and I still do not have it (7/27/21). I have to agree with other current review writers that their customer service is the one of the worst I have ever experienced. I called to follow up over 10 times and when I am lucky enough to reach someone, they either tell me my screen is being shipped the next day or once was told it was back ordered but was built and the shipping company was there as we spoke to pick it up for delivery. Customer service is non-existent. They dropped off the screen door at my residence with a hole in the screen while I was not home. I requested new screen material or even just a repair kit that I would install myself onto the door, they could just mail to me. Never mind the should have given me an entire new screen door since I orders a completely assembled item to avoid doing exactly this type of work, so I figured this was a completely reasonable request. Almost a month now with no response to repeated emails with photographic evidence, sent to the same email addresses which they were previously quick to answer when making the sale. I placed an order on 6/13. I received a confirmation email but, after two weeks of hearing nothing I called and checked in. I was told that it normally takes three weeks to get an order out. I checked back a week later and was told there was a delay because of COVID and that my order would be shipped at the end of the following week. I called at the end of the following week and was told that someone would get back to me that same day with a status update...nobody did. I called the next day (Saturday) and was told my order would be delivered by that Monday - Tuesday at the latest. I called on Wednesday (surprise, no delivery) and was told that the delivery van got in an accident and my screens were damaged but they would be redone and shipped in a day or two...someone would call me to update me with a status. Today is Friday and I've called multiple times and nobody is available to take the call. Thank goodness I used my AMEX and I can call them to handle getting my order canceled! DO NOT BUY HERE!! Absolutely the worst customer service I've ever experienced. It's impossible to get a hold of someone in the U.S. I tried for weeks, can only connect with customer service in India which was very hard to communicate. Simple screen door took over a month to ship and I checked in daily and could never get an answer on status. Screen door came and the craftsmanship was junk. I had to drill into the frame to access the wheel tensioner. Tried to get a hold of customer service for a refund or new screen and never heard back. Terrible company. read more

Ordered a screen for $28.48 and shipping charge of $66 showed up on confirmation screen. Too much for shipping! I immediately submitted an online ticket to cancel the order. I called withing 5 minutes to cancel the order. They said email was required about the order. I sent 2 emails about the order. The website claims great customer service and they love comments. I tried to leave a comment at the website, but comments are turned off. What are they hiding? The customer service person on the phone said orders can't be canceled. I say any order can be canceled, especially if it is backordered and no work has been started on the product. There has been no response from the company. I think they are trying to wait and just keep my money. Read all the poor reviews before considering this company. I think you are much better off getting screens from a local hardware store or big box hardware store where you can get a response and refunds if needed. read more

I ordered a fully assembled screen door for my slider Nov 8, 2020. The screen door arrived on December 24th, and it was partially assembled. The screening provided was not long enough to fully enclose the screen door. Unfortunately I ordered a 93 1/2" door, and what I received was 93 3/4. The door is too large and will not fit. I have been trying since December to get it fixed or refunded. They do not call back, nor respond to my emails. When I have called them, I was told that it was "almost perfect", and that I must have measured incorrectly. Now, if I ordered 93 1/2, and I received 93 1/2 and it didn't fit, then yes, it would be my fault. But, they sent me a screen door that was 93 3/4" tall, 1/4" taller than I ordered. It doesn't fit, and so they need to remedy the situation. It took about 7 weeks to receive the slider, and I have been trying to get this situation remedied for almost 2 months after that. They had great reviews online so I took a chance... it looks like that was a bad decision on my part. I would not recommend Best Custom Screens due to their lack of customer service. If they remedy the situation and give me a refund, I will update and/or remove this bad review. Until then... buyer be ware. read more

I ordered a sliding screen for my patio door several weeks ago. My account was charged and the payment was withdrawn from my account at the time of order. Never received an invoice from this establishment or heard from the establishment. I placed a dispute with PayPal regarding since I never heard from them. I guess they didn't like that a concern with the payment was placed since I guess PayPal didn't disbursed the money. Yet, they never bothered to respond to PayPal to provide the status of the order. Then, last week I got a voice mail regarding the order. I called them back and was informed about the payment being on hold. I informed them that I have not received an invoice or a date for the delivery of my sliding screen door. The lady taking the telephone call sent me a copy of the invoice and that the screens will be shipped next week. So far so good, I said OK. Then, today I got another telephone call from this establishment asking me about the payment since PayPal still have the payment on hold. I asked the lady when the screen will be shipped or whether they have been fabricated. The answer was no. She wanted to me to contact PayPal to remove the dispute before they do anything, which means I may have to wait another couple of weeks before I receive the screens. This was the biggest waste of my time I have ever seen, over three weeks to make a sliding screen and, asking me to remove the dispute so they can take another three weeks after payment that was rich. I asked to have my order canceled and she got an attitude and OK I'll cancel and hung up on my face. Customer service be damn. I'll stay away from this place if I were you. BTW, they didn't refund me the money since they are required to tell PayPal to issue a refund. The didn't do that! read more
