By far the best CPR (w/AED) and First Aid class I've been too. Farley (the instructor) was engaging from the start - keeping the class active (you're moving around constantly), working with many partners throughout (let's face it you're likely to be working with strangers in a crisis), and kept the class engaged with practical stories, fun anecdotes, and high energy. This was the first time I've done a class with AED and it was amazing to discover the importance of this device in survival rates. This class is a great value for money and super fun too. I took Farley's CPR class in Bellevue this month and it was one of the best CPR classes I have taken. I have to renew my certification every two years for my fitness certs so I have taken MANY CPR classes. The thing that impressed me the most was the fact that he had us on the floor with the mannequins right away in order to demonstrate what we already knew. He didn't assume that we were all starting from scratch. This quick assessment of prior/current knowledge is so essential when it comes to teaching adults. I also really appreciated Farley's addition of having us practice assertiveness. In an emergency, someone has to be in charge until help arrives and that person has to be calm, confident and (if necessary) demanding. I actually went home with quite an adrenaline rush! I had to renew my cpr/first aid certificate to take my scout troop on a camping trip. I wasn't super excited to get up early on a Saturday and spend 5 hours with a resuscitation dummy, but I ended up learning alot and having a fun morning. Very informative class. I attended the First aid + CPR AED combo class, received a lot of life-saving information and hands-on experiences that'd be absolutely essential to have. Outstanding! I think this is my 6th of 7th time renewing my First Aid/CPR training. This was the best class I have had. My instructor was Farley. He was energetic and very engaging. The standard American Heart Association class has you watching a video, then practicing. Not so here. It was all about interactions. It was using your own minds to assess the first aid problems and coming up with solutions. The ensuing discussions really cemented the idea of mental preparedness and overcoming the fear of involvement. I would highly recommend this class over any other. read more

Instructor Farley is very skilled and covers everything you could need to jump into action in the real world. He even shares that he wasn't always this confident and knowledgeable but he teaches you how to be. I initially chose this company for taking the course because I could not find it offered at any other Eastside location location.  I have had a variety of first aid training in the last six decades including a Red Cross MOFA course. I was unprepared to be sucked up into Farley's contagiously passionate delivery of this material (CPR/AED).  His organization, content, visual aids, equipment and delivery were as good as I can imagine.  He clearly has studied statistics and trends in the survival rates and effectiveness of CPR techniques, besides having a wealth of anecdotal illustrations.  I feel lucky to have taken the course from him. I advise people to pay very close attention to the directions to find the place and to look at the Google Maps photos taken from the parking lot. It was harder to find than "Reverse" in an old Volkswagen. read more

Hands down the best CPR/First Aid course EVER. Far exceeded my (and my coworker's) expectations. Farley came to our office and taught a group of 14 of us. He kept us laughing and engaged the whole time, and we all walked out feeling informed and so much more confident. I was certified in 1st Aid & CPR years ago, but this class is by far a much better and well-rounded class than the one I took before. I took the First Aid and CPR/AED class which was 4.5 hrs. The instructor, Farley, was fantastic. The class was very hands on, well organized, and thorough. I am lucky to work at a place that hired him to instruct us, and wish that more places made the investment. Absolutely recommend this to everyone, you can sign up as an individual or get a group of people together. You can go to him or he can come to you. When it's time to renew my certification in 2 years, I will definitely use NW Best CPR. read more

Highly informative, super practical, and engagingly fun are three thoughts that easily come to mind with NWBestCPR. We used NWBestCPR in August 2015 for our AmeriCorps CPR/First Aid Training during our week-long orientation. Our AmeriCorps members serve at middle schools throughout Washington State. Farley was able to make this training 'real' as he called out a number of situations that members should be prepared for and walked them through proper protocol. He delivered it in a way where our AmeriCorps members were enthusiastically engaged throughout the 4.5 hour session. Time flew by so quickly. Never have I witnessed such a training as enjoyable as this. The NWBestCPR training was, in fact, our members' favorite session of the entire orientation. NwBestCPR is truly the best! A 41/2 hour first aid, CPR and the use of the AED class flew by very quickly. Farley made the class very exciting and I feel everyone in the class came away being proficient in all the various procedures. Took the CPR/BLS Class. Really appreciated Farley's interactive teaching style vs the "watch a video for 2 hours". It's very informative and I learned new information from the class I took a few years ago making this life saving process much more efficient hence more effective! I'm not going to lie, this was the best experience I've had becoming certified/re-certified in CPR/BLS. Our instructor, Farley, was so awesome! He mentally threw me into vivid situations and helped me almost feel the panic and hesitancy and tunnel vision that likely comes when a life or death situation arises and someone is not breathing. I was so sucked into the situations that I felt urgent about mastering the training. He provided clear, direct, and extra helpful training that left me feeling very confident (more than I've ever been so far!) in taking charge of immediately beginning CPR if I ever see someone who is not breathing. He established perspective with statistics on survival rates and credibility for King County's Fire and rescue department, discussed possible things that hold people back from helping when someone is not breathing, mentioned details about what can happen to a body when someone is not breathing, made the training as real as possible and created in me an important sense of educated urgency that is priceless. I am so motivated to locate AEDs near my home and anywhere I travel, to pay attention to my surroundings and my precise location wherever I go, to get a better quality first aid kit and someday even my own AED. Not to mention get all my family members and friends educated with this valuable training! I also enjoyed the small class size, partner switching, and the adequate compressions practice and conditioning. I was glad he gave us a bonus round with the AED speaking Spanish too; so many creative ways to prepare us. He even sent us a follow up email with review sheets and helpful, handy reminders about action items he recommended we take. I would take his class every time and highly recommend him and this course to everyone! read more

Farley is a great cpr instructor! He combines real life stories with his instruction which really illustrate the importance of the training. His training equipment is well maintained allows you to really practice the cpr skills. He really tailors the training to your particular area and office space, to truly prepare you for emergencies in your office or outside. I highly recommend him for his insight into your particular office setting and his overall instruction. You will be much better prepared to render CPR after his training. read more
