Went in today for an oil change and to check my front break that was squeaking. Was originally diagnosed as a possible belt problem, then as an air intake problem. Long story short, when I press my breaks it still squeaks. Also, noticed a chip in my windshield that I'm really hoping is just a coincidence, even though I fee I would have noticed it if was there before. I really feel service has gone down. read more

My husband and I just bought a new Chevy Silverado from Best Chevrolet and had an awesome experience. We had gone to THREE other dealers in Quincy before we ended up at Best Chevrolet. We met Dana who was really nice and straight to the point. It was the first dealership we went to that we didn't feel like we were getting the typical sales pitch/ "I can not let you leave until you agree to buy this car" deal. Dana, Steve and Nathan made the whole process extremely EASY and stress free (THANK YOU GUYS!). They stayed late that night (without telling us they were) and we didn't feel pressured AT ALL. We left without that feeling of "Oh god what did I just do?" that I often get when buying a car. We LOVE the truck and I can't recommend these guys enough! read more

Terrible car dealer, posts misleading ads; called to get more info, and got anything but. Seriously, just answer a straight question!!

If you buy a certified pre owned vehicle here make sure you go through every item on the checklist that the dealer is supposed to use to check through the vehicles. Checklist can be found on GM website. I found 4 items broken and simply and obviously overlooked on my Certified Pre Owned. Dealer replaced items once pointed out. Notified GM of issue. I think they simply was wax and slap Certified Preowned on the sticker, and hope some sucker does not check over the small things. read more

I made an appointment on line for an oil change. We had also done this in the past. I get there 15 minutes before my appointment time and am told that it will be a 2 hour wait. When I tell him I have an appointment that I made on line, he tells me that they "don't do oil appointments for oil changes". Considering I have an e-mail confirming my appointment I'm pretty certain this is not true. The individual was rude, condescending and dismissive. It confirmed for me that I made the right decision driving to Haverhill, 45 minutes away, to buy my car rather than give this dealership my business. read more

I searched far and wide for my 2015 Lexus and happened to have found what I wanted ironically at Best Chevy. I got to work with David Fieldman and he is by far the best salesperson I've interacted with. He was patient, focused on the customer first and listened to what I wanted. In this case, it was pretty simple seeing that there was only 1 Lexus in stock at the Chevy dealer but he made me feel like he had my best interests in mind and wanted me to be happy with my purchase. Definitely not a "traditional" stressful-type of car buying experience. Would go back there again in a heartbeat and do not hesitate for a second to do business with this dealership. Very professional and customer-centric. read more

After my timing belt went on my 2010 Chevy Traverse, I was referred to Peter Dodd, the Service Manager. He was absolutely terrific! Great service, super helpful, courteous and we got excellent communication. He made sure to keep us in the loop the whole time and even worked with GM, the parent company to help assist with my car issues. I had gone to another major Chevy dealership in the area and always left beyond frustrated. I couldn't recommend Peter Dodd and Best Chevrolet more. They will be getting all my business in the future. read more

I purchased my 2011 Chevy Cruze new at another dealership and have had several issues with it. Several years ago after getting fed up with the other dealership's service department I went to Best Chevy and started working with their service department. When you pull up there are several lanes to pull into, you meet someone one takes your car keys and your vehicles information then opens the door for you to go in. Upon entering you will find what is the cleanest, nicest, service department lobby I have ever seen. They offer free WIFI, couches, a TV, and even a playroom for the kids (any parent will know how huge this is). When they rebuilt this place years ago they 100% got it. You are greeted at the front desk by a representative (usually Chrissy) who will check you in and take all of your information and puts you in touch with an advisor. The first time I went there I got Rich. Rich is a great guy who goes out of his way to take care of a customer. He always makes sure to check for TSB's and recalls and he does everything he can to do what is right by the client. In the rare occasion a mistake is made, he is up front about it and just fixes it. A few years ago when I got my oil changed, the filter mount broke (they are plastic, it happens). I got a call saying it happened, apologizing for it, telling me they were going to fix it, and they were going to give me a rental until it was fixed. Rich is always fair and reasonable and make sure the job is done completely before you get your car back. One thing that has really impressed me is the fact that I get told up front what a diagnostic fee will be, as opposed to getting an hourly rate that you get at other dealerships or garages, having them spend 10 hours trying to figure out the issue, then giving you a surprise $1500 bill. I used to work in the service side of the car industry, so I know how easy it is for dealerships to just "take your money". My car currently has 130,000 + miles on it, I would generally never bring a car with that many miles back to a dealership, however, when you know it will be fixed right the first time, there is really no question in my mind. My only complaint is that I did not buy my car here, I will NOT make that mistake again. read more

STAY AWAY FROM SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Called 3 days ahead to schedule an appointment to get my truck fixed. Brought it in on the day at 8:30 in the morning, told them exactly what was wrong with it. 9 hours and 4 phone calls later they finally tell me that they haven't even looked at it and want to keep it overnight, which is unacceptable because today is my only day off from work. If I had just drove in unannounced I could understand this, but I made this appointment 3 days in advance and already knew what was wrong with the truck from another reputable automotive service garage. My day has been completely wasted and I will never be coming back to this establishment for any reason. I suggest that you stay away as well. read more

Working with Sara and Steve D on buying a 2014 Tahoe was a great experience. The moment i walked in to the showroom I was greeted with a smile and a cookie, and met with Sara right away. She referred me to Steve and he was excellent. NO pressure, no gimmicky sales pitches or anything other places try to pull. Steve went to go get the Tahoe i was interested in and returned about 10 minutes later. I was wondering why such a wait, then I noticed that he had taken it out back to wash it- clearly he wanted a happy customer. He went over everything in and out of the Tahoe, and answered all of my questions. After a nice test drive we went inside and talked some numbers. Nobody ever really enjoys this kind of process, but it was a breeze here. Didn't take long at all to reach a selling point. I would highly recommend both Sara and Steve for another buying experience. read more

I had my mercedes repaired at Best recently. Cathy Roberts, the service coordinator provided excellent customer service. She kept in continuous contact with me and had the rental waiting upon arrival. The only reason I did not provide 5 stars, was that it took one week to install the bumper, which I felt was a couple days longer than it should have. Other than that, great experience! read more

Exceptional lease experience with all involved parties, led by salesman David Fieldman who did an amazing job. Been a customer for many years and they keep getting better at Best. Super service dept. as well. read more

If I could give them no stars I would. Went to meet someone who was looking at a used car there to give them my opinion on the vehicle. Walk into the showroom and am immediately met by a rude salesman that asks me what I'm doing and then proceeds to follow me as I walk to my person as if I was a criminal. Sorry buddy if I was going to do anything wrong I definitely wouldn't have brought a toddler with me! Then the actual salesman, chuck, that was helping my friend, proceeds to talk to her as if she was an imbecile wasting his time. Sorry buddy apparently you didn't want the commission on a 20k+ vehicle cause you were a massive dbag! Worst experience I've ever had at a dealership you're treated like horse manure from the moment you walk in! I very highly recommend quirk Chevrolet in Braintree if you are looking for a Chevy. Fantastic staff willing to treat you with respect and work with you to make a sale. Forget best Chevy they should be renamed to worst Chevy! read more

Working with the sales team at Best has been great! I had been corresponding with them for over 2 months prior to getting my vehicle. Through all the financial bumps, and my indecisiveness, they stayed very supportive without being pushy or over zealous about whether I was going to purchase/lease or not. They were very, very patient, and in the end put me in the vehicle of my dreams! read more

I've been using Best for service on my GMC Terrain for a few years now. Joe Carmichael in Service is great. So when it came time for a new car I decided to look into a new Equinox so I could go through Best and keep dealing with Joe for service. My salesperson was Aaron Markella. He is awesome and was so pleasant to deal with! I felt like I was a valued customer, not just another sale. Pascal was very nice, helpful and easy to deal with also. Great experience all around!! read more

We purchased our used Jeep Wrangler with Christopher Welcome help and couldn't be happier. We found the vehicle originally online via a different website and after calling him, he confirmed that he did indeed have it on his lot and we could see it. Living 1 hour away, this was important to us, so that we didn't drive out there to be disappointed. When we arrived at the dealership, the Jeep was parked in the front ready and waiting for us to test drive. He ran over the highlights of the car and we were already sold. Christopher is very personable and easy going. He was very flexible with our timing was not pushy at all (as we all know many car dealerships can be!) He answered all of our questions and I can tell you he really knows his stuff! He was willing to negotiate to get us a good deal. We would most definitely suggest him to family and friends in a heartbeat. Joe Carmichael from the service departments also was great helping me with questions I had and going the extra mile .Thank you again guys you were great! read more

Thank you Best Chevrolet for doing a wonderful job fixing the cosmetics of my Jeep Grand Cherokee! After getting rear ended the last thing you want to do is go through all the insurance shenanigans but the staff at the collision center made it a stress-free process! The willingness to help, organization, communication and the craftsmanship was unbelievable! Thank you Andrea, Christy and Scott for all your hard work!! read more

I recommend best Chevrolet all the time. Superior customer service! You guys always go the extra mile and it shows.

Purchased a used vehicle at Best Chevrolet, within 2 days I heard a loud screeching noise from the brakes and feels like it's skipping at some points. I contacted the Service Department they took the car overnight gave me a loaner , when I returned to pick up the vehicle the service writer informed me that they shaved the rotors and that they heard no noise and that it was all set , gave me no paperwork for proof that this was done. When I left the dealership the same exact noise was still there , I believe they never took the vehicle out for a road test to confirm this. Have had difficulty to set up to bring the vehicle In , came in on a Saturday they said they had no one to look at the vehicle and would have to come back. Multiple people have heard the same noise on the vehicle and asked what's wrong with the vehicle. They could've came out for a test drive to put on record that in fact the vehicle yet I got the run around. Not happy with this at all read more

After years of dissatisfaction with my local Chevy dealer, I decided to try Best Chevrolet. I met with Rich Lucero, explained my situation and what I wanted, and he just made it happen. No gimmicks, no hard sell, no bait and switch. Rich then had me meet with Husan in the Finance Department, and I tell you, that's the guy to see for creative financing. He leverages his good relationship with banks to get you the best deal. On the day I came to pick up my new ride, Rich was there waiting and had taken care of every detail -- notifying my insurance company; completing all the RMV business required to cancel my existing registration and write my new one; notify the leasing company that I surrendered the vehicle; new vehicle inspection; and new plates installed. Then he took the time to assist me with activating OnStar and programming syncing my phone with the car's fancy audio system. If anyone is reading this and thinking "well, that's what car dealership do", don't be so sure -- I have been buying cars (GMC or Chevrolet) for 25 years and this was the easiest, least stressful transaction I have had! read more

Please read this and be aware. Trusted and enjoyed a relationship with this dealership for servicing my cars. In fact serviced my Chevy, Honda and Mercedes there. Not anymore. Within 2 weeks of each other 2 of my cars engines were destroyed. Both up to date on service, at least we thought, and both within service period. There response when questioned about how this could happen would disgust anyone. I quote Harry the service manager, "just because there's a leak in the engine doesn't mean necessarily that we would tell you about it". The Chevy went first I replaced the engine without thinking twice about it. Cause... lack of fluids engine seized on rte 95 in Rhode Island. 2nd car blown head gasket overheated engine apparent leak just service within 700 miles. Cause unreported leak lack of fluids. Both cars less than 100k miles on them. They put a claim in through there insurance company Zurich insurance because they new they were at fault and didn't want to pay...Zurich didn't either. Another quote from Harry the service manager, "'I m not going to say that in my 30 plus years working at Best Chevrolet that that people don't make mistakes they do. We have missed topping off fluids or forgetting to change the oil". Quote from the insurance company, after Best is in the Business of making money". I have been very patient and was made to believe that this would be resolved... I'm taking both cars on the chin $3800 for the Chevy and $4100 for the Mercedes. Unreal! read more

i was very disappointed. This was my first time here, I was hoping it would work out, as I live nearby, but I would rather travel then deal with this again. I made an appointment for 8:30am that day to bring my car in for service. When I arrived, I had checked in. When it was time to meet with the person handling my car, I was told that he didn't know if the car could be looked at today. I questioned that, as I was frustrated- what was the point of having an appointment? I told him that I was certain I had an appointment and that I checked in with the reception and they had my appointment in their system. He asked me if I had the name of the person who made the appointment for me, I said I did not, he told me to always get a name. I am sorry, but I did not feel the need to be scolded! Finally he discovered the appointment and apologized. I asked that he look at the check engine light, the tire pressure gauge and perform an oil change. At 3:10pm I had not heard from him. I called and was told that the car had not even entered the shop. Again, why was my car not even looked at 7 hrs later? I expressed my disappointment and 1/2 hr later he called back with the diagnosis. At this point, he told me that nothing could be done, as my warranty company was now closed. So who's fault was that? No loner car was offered nothing. He told me the tire gauge needed to be re-set, oil change performed, the gas cap needed to be replaced, as well as the break switch. The parts would be in on Monday. In the end, my car was not ready until 2pm that Tuesday, 5 days and no major repairs-ridiculous. On Saturday, I pressed for a loner and was told there were none. I was then set up with enterprise. When I came Tue to pick up my car I was charged for the rental in full! I said I will not pay for this, and they offered to split the cost, which I still do not think is fair. Frankly, I was horrified by the customer service and the whole experience. read more

I read a lot of these reviews and some sound so honest and sincere while others sound like they wrote them just to get a coupon for their next service visit. I did walk into the dealership one day after work to buy a car, a fairly expensive car and the first thing they wanted was my fico score to make sure I could pay for the car. They changed their tune when they found out my fico score was in excess of 830 and I would have no problems with money. What do you expect from a business that is registered out of Delaware instead of Massachusetts. The arrogance runs from the top of the business all the way down. I had a service problem with the car and after a few attempts to repair it I was a little upset and let it be known. Their service director invited me to go elsewhere for future service. Like I said the arrogance runs from the top down. As the saying goes, buyer beware. But, do go elsewhere. read more

Overall I was very disappointed with my experience at Best Chevrolet. When I first called about purchasing a truck they were very helpful and seemed on the ball. They then strung me along for weeks saying they had my truck in and then didn't at the last minute. No one seemed to be able to communicate with each other, and I had to make separate calls to the GM, finance manager, and salesperson. I have been lied to, misinformed, and kept in the dark. When they were finally able to produce my truck it was the WRONG vehicle they had registered to me as well as NOT the vehicle I had a deposit on. It then took another 2 weeks for them to locate and obtain the correct vehicle and deliver it to me. They lost my paperwork multiple times, were sometimes unreachable by phone, and were not forthcoming with compensatory actions. They changed interest rates on me and falsified paperwork. When the correct vehicle was delivered it was missing the extra set of keys and owners manual. It had 1/4 tank of fuel in it. It took them an additional week to send me my paperwork. I lost a significant amount of revenue and vacation days while this was going on. Overall, it has taken OVER A MONTH to complete this transaction, and I am deeply unsatisfied with the result. read more
