Horrible experience. Ordered a gaming controller for 1 hour pickup. Showed up 40 minutes later and was told it wasnt ready. I asked if I could grab the controller and bring it to the front. I was told to go grab it but pay for it again and cancel my online pickup. I waited in my truck until the 1 hour mark and the controller was still not ready. Worst customer service I've had. 25 workers in the store and 20 of them were standing around talking. Stay away from Best Buy and their joke of an online pickup program. I found the controller at walmart for half the price at Best Buy. 2 thumbs down. read more

Impossible to get through to call the store. AI is actually so non-sensible it isn't functional, if you breath it thinks you're asking things and saying a full on sentence. Was sent to the international call center for them to tell me they don't carry what I needed instead of the actual store. These stores have no purpose or value anymore order online from amazon. read more

Why is that I can't get ahold of anyone who works there via phone or the live agent? Purchased dash cam and trying to speak to a rep to help me get info on pricing since apparently if you buy a 300 buck dash cam they will charge you 100 for installation. Wild as hell. read more

I needed help cleaning up my kindle because it's old and I download a lot of books etc. . Geek Sales lady said just go to the app and delete. What?? I'm 74, what does that even mean???!!! Then I went to look at a watch w GPS and waterproof. No one could take the time to take one minute to show me how it worked and I'm not spending that much before I know how to use it. There wasn't a sales person over 24. I WILL NEVER GO BACK THERE AGAIN read more

They don't always have what I'm looking for and some of the employees look like they don't want to show me. Having said that, some of the appliances are in stock and some of the employees will stop what they're doing and chatting about to be helpful. read more

The Geek Squad I kid you not took almost a month to get my computer back, don't come here for that.

We just had an incredible experience at Best Buy thanks to JT. He was so thorough, patient, kind and understanding when we brought a tv back in that was malfunctioning. He gave us the same price and looked long and hard to find us a tv for an exchange! We recommend going here! read more

Ordered a refrigerator and scheduled the delivery. Store cancelled our delivery the day of and did not reschedule. I had to call the store multiple times, being sent to voicemails or to call centers with no assistance. Awful customer service! I would not recommend. read more

Unfortunately I have to give them a star. The gray haired dude at customer service/pick up was unprofessional, rude and disrespectful. Assuming before I even give him the response to his question. That geezer needs a break, he's definitely the type that shouldn't be working at "customer service." Invest early kids, or you'll work all your life. read more

Do not. I repeat do not use their delivery service. The clerk had me pick a time for the delivery. Not only did they 7 hours early. I got the worst customer service from the delivery guy and the customer service from the store. I ended up having to leave work early to meet this guy just for him to tell me he was 26 mins away. 30 mins past and I got another call where he stated he was just now leaving so it would be another 30 mins! Let's just say I will NEVER buy anything from here and get it delivered! Beyond unprofessional on so many levels If I could give this place a freakin 0 I would. They just don't care read more

My experience with Best Buy is been nice and I will recommend, sometimes there may be a few issues but in general is excellent

Geek Squad (actual Best Buy employees ) came to redo the installation. Did a great job. Don't accept a contractor for any insulation

horrible customer service and beware bought a doorbell camera online had problems connecting with the service associated with it got the runaround until after the 39 day return policy now I stuck out. they are crooks our have direct from the manufacture the only way they will help is pay for extra protection worse than paying the mafia for protection it never ends. Had a good experience the first week after that had problems with conn to the service got the runaround until 30 period now stuck with the money to have it installed and purchase of it was to make my 91 year old dad safer and not I'm out the money which we both are senior citizens and now I am having to purchase other option. Excellent customer service. Cory waited on me and I couldn't have been happier!! I was treated like a real person. Way to go, Cory!

Me and my boyfriend came in, and we're having the worst trouble with a hotspot. The assistant manager JT was the best person we could have talked to. He walked us through everything, and provided help that calmed us down because we were a little upset with the hotspot. If I could rate this best buy and their employees, i would do a 12/10! Awesome customer service, and we will be coming here for anything we ever purchase! read more

Sat in line for 10 min because there was only one cashier and she was having a nice 10 min convo about hair color with the lady that was in front of me instead of doing her job and keeping the line moving. I was waiting on an order of two laptops, paid in full, to be filled. As I waited I decided to browse the electrics they have. Not five minutes into looking around I noticed that I had employees hovering over any area I went in the store. Gave me the feeling as if they thought I was stealing. Mind you I'm there picking up my $1,000 order fully paid. The lady at the customer service desk seemed completely hassled and was a little rude. Is this how your treat your customers? I suppose a customer rating for these larger Goliath companies is moot. Nonetheless, this is my take. Consider, in Waco TX the only place that employs nerds and geeks alike, along with the vast breed of those in between that have yet to discover the convenience of indoor plumbing, the shower in particular, all gathered in one place. Well, there is such a place. You've found it. Wacos own little gem of blue shirts and vague knowledge. They're here to help and will try even if you would like it or not. The particular Waco TX brand of best buy nerd is eager to offer assistance in most particular areas with no actual prior knowledge of the said product they're offering to help you on. But the convenience of their existence is what best buy is after. "See this blue shirt? It says I help. (without actually resolving any issues , questions or concerns.)" "I'm just here for the video game discount" big man in the little blue shirt says, "Ugh, I'm so ready for my shift to be over, I've got another job to go to tonight after this, you should be how crazy these people get (black Friday eve)" Little big man in white shirt stated "So, ... How much did you say this video game would be? " me. read more

Geek Squad - We all know they are expensive, but we sometimes end up using them anyway due to the convenience. On average they are about 50% higher then qualified IT mom and pop shops...FYI They also have a rough time managing their time. I went in simple project please load a fresh copy of windows and a fully functioning HP Pro Lap Top. Roughly 30 minutes worth of work. I paid $110 and was told it could take as much as three days. OK, let do this. I scheduled a follow up three days later and went back to work. Next day I get a text saying it was ready. Wow OK, I will go get it on my lunch break following day. I get there and show them the text stating it was ready and I was asked do you have an appointment? Well yes but it is in two days, I just need to pick it up. OK, sir if you could take a seat it will be about an hour before we can help you. Wait I am done I pre-paid and just need to pick it up. "Sir, you can wait and hour today or come back on Sunday, I don't care either way" I will not be using them ever again............Hope you don't either! read more

I don't know why I keep going back when I keep getting the same crappy lack of service. I look young, I admit that. But I don't look young enough to be ignored when I go in the store. I can be looking at something for 10-15 minutes and no one asks if they can help me. They look at me and keep on walking. When my parents come up to ask if I've found what I'm looking for, suddenly I have someone coming over asking THEM if they need any help. Same thing every freaking time. read more

As a Total Tech Support member your supposed to get free install on your back up cameras and stereos, right? That's why I bought at Best Buy. Showed up at the appointment and I'm told that their install guy quit, then when looking through the system he wasn't finding my appointment to begin with. After OVER A MONTH waiting for this appointment with the parts specifically ready to pick up today, and they weren't even seeing my appointment. So now, I get to wait another month, and get to drive AN HOUR away to get it installed. And all I get is an, "all I can say is I'm sorry." No discount, extension of my plan, or anything. The last 3 big purchases I have made from Best Buy have been defective. Customer service and geek squad are not any help with these issues and are very rude. Best Buy is a good addition to Market Place. Reasons to go: 1) Inventory. If you do not have the time or trust to shop online and need something quick, they have music, games, and movies as well as gaming accessories. 2) Prices on 'big' electronics. I have priced TVs and sound bars at Best Buy, Navy Exchange, Wal-Mart, Target, and K-Mart. I bought both items at different times from Best Buy. They are tough to beat and they have amazing sales on black Friday! 3) New stuff. These guys usually have the latest and greatest available to the customer in their wheelhouse. It's fun to go in and browse. Reasons to avoid: 1) Service. It is hit or miss at any given Best Buy. Edie has a point. Most teens (assuming that is what Edie is) are watched but not asked if they need help but rather to make sure that nothing is stolen. There is a reason for this with high statistics of teens shoplifting from stores that sell the highly coveted products sold at Best Buy. Still, the service could be better at this location. read more

We ordered a 10.2 cubic freezer online for Black Friday. We went to pick it up the Sunday after. The men up front directed me to "pick up" kiosk, the sweet woman there scanned the email confirmation barcode on my phone and asked for my id (needs to be the name on the order), and in minutes two men had the freezer out front and loaded it in the bed of our truck for us. The woman poked her head out of the door and asked how I'd like a receipt :) I was amazed, on such a busy day we were in and out of there in 10 minutes. Thank y'all! read more

Wish I had read the reviews first. Ordered a washer and dryer and scheduled the delivery and installation for a month later, so it could be delivered right after I moved into my new home. On the morning of the scheduled delivery, I received a confirmation text message confirming the delivery window. I waited and waited and didn't hear anything and I finally received an email saying that they were rescheduling the delivery for a week later. Apparently they wrote in the notes that the installer was unavailable and that he tried contacting me, even though no one ever contacted me. After that, I called and spoke with 2 different people who told me that my appliances were in the local warehouse and that they would contact the manager to see if they could have them delivered sooner. Never heard anything. Finally called again to follow up and spoke with a third person who told me that they are unable to deliver them early. So now I am stuck without a washer and dryer in my new home. Needless to say I will no longer be doing business with Best Buy. read more

Honestly don't have enough bad things to say about this Best Buy. I bought all new kitchen appliances from them and had an awful experience with the delivery and installation process. 1. They never showed up during the allotted time frame. 2. They stood me up two times for a repair, yes a repair only after two weeks of being installed , just didn't show up, no call or anything. Now I have to hire someone else. 3. Also stood me up on installing my oven all together. I called to ask why and their explanation was that they thought the installation was a mistake. So instead of calling me to see if it was a mistake, they just didn't come. Won't be buying anything from this Best Buy ever again. read more

Great service, but why can't you answer the phone? I just have quick question that I could just ask an employee over the phone, can't find it on the website, but now I have to physically go in which is inconvenient and also stupid during a pandemic. Negative 10 stars. In my last visit, I was greeted by an employee who asked what I needed. After explaining, he assured me that Best Buy didn't offer that and Geek Squad wouldn't do it because of software copyright issues. Hmm. I wasn't aware that Best Buy employed lawyers as greeters. Of course, as an experienced intellectual property business owner, I assured him he was incorrect, which he argued as an expert in this area. I ended the discussion by telling him I appreciated that Best Buy was wary of these issues. I went home and did an Internet search for a product to satisfy my needs and the first item to arise was the a software product that was applicable and it was available for curbside pickup at Best Buy in Waco. To reiterate, this was my last visit to Best Buy. Their employees appear to be ignorant of their own offerings, so why bother with them? Any of their offerings that I could need can be obtained online. read more

Bad selection and you have to hunt for someone to help you, even when it's quiet. They need to improve their service.

Once a faithful - Never Again! - Lied to. Promise not delivered. And spineless insensitive management only gives excuses or blame shifts - and ultimately shafted the customer. - I really would have rather let you know how a bad situation was made tolerable by Best Buy- I gave the three separate times to 'do the right thing' believing surely they would... But to my astonishment met arrogance. - my little story - my car was broken into and everything was stolen (not at Best Buy but in front of Pei Wei). I needed a new computer immediately for work, a new Apple MacBook, and they told me it could be delivered to the store on Saturday (free pickup - it was Wednesday) they then said if I wanted to pay $30 I could have it delivered one day earlier to my home. Without hesitation I paid the extra $30 as I needed it. - well late the next day I was alerted by email my computer would arrive the following Monday!! I immediately called Best Buy to intervene in this situation and they said "that was just an 'estimate' " and that FedEx's issue. The next day I called and asked to speak with a manager as what the employee had told me was a lie and I was quite upset as now I wouldn't be able to get the computer I needed any sooner than Monday... I was stuck with this order. When pressed the manager said they might have to deal with better training but said it was FedEx's fault. I let them know it was Best Buy who I was dealing with who I paid to have the computer shipped directly to me- not FedEx (contracted by Best Buy) it was their responsibility. He said, "sir, what do you want me to do?" (Irritable) I said, "say you are 'sorry' for one!" (Not once was there an apology through my entire experience... Even after saying that) they said they would give me back my shipping. So I let him know how ridiculous it was that I PAY $30 on top of $3,300 (which caused me to not go elsewhere and spend my money) and they didn't deliver- but they got the sale, I lose out on valuable work and they just give me back $30....! He then said, because he knew I was mad, "how bout we give you a computer bag?" I told him, "how bout you think about it and call me back in an hour of what you think is right to do." He never called me back. So I finally went in yesterday and told 'my story' - manager didn't even come out but instructed the kind girl to just give me the $30 back. How sad. read more

I am currently on hold with them as I write this. Current hold time so far is 44min 23sec and counting. Best part is there was only one person ahead of me. I tried calling with another phone while on hold and the automation says all sales associates are currently busy. Bull crap, everybody knows that best buy employees are known for avoiding customers. So I highly doubt that miraculously the day I call they all decide to actually help customers. read more

This Best Buy has horrible customer service. If I could give this store zero stars I would. Twice now I have had a horrible experience regarding a purchase. The first time was when I purchased a 4K copy of a film for pickup and they gave me a copy with a damaged case. I went inside the store to make a simple exchange with the copies left in stock. There were no other copies to be found so I asked customer service where they were. They said in the back of the store. I told customer service I couldn't find them. They replied "It should be there". No one bothered to check if it was in stock or put up on the shelf from storage. So I demanded a refund and found the film at another store. Now, I go to find a copy of a new 4K release. The Best Buy app listed it as still in stock with 2 copies in the store. The movie was nowhere to be found in the store. I asked customer service where it may be inside the store. They said check the back of the store. I told them yet again there were no copies. The customer service lady was rude and just said "I don't know". I am done with this store. It pains me because I have enjoyed buying new films and tech from Best Buy for over a decade. Right now they have the absolute worse customer service and most of the employees are lazy. They socialize with each other to look busy. I will not be shopping for new films here anymore. read more
