I spent 3,464$ on a laptop there and they sold me the wrong one when I went in they told me to wait for the best buy card to arrive I was also told it would be fine to use the one they ordered ( only while we wait for the card to arrive, I was told they would be able to order it themselves and then I could do an easy swap. I waited and then when I went back in I was told that I would have to pay for the other one myself and then when it arrives I would be able to get my money for the first one back, I was also told that the other one would NOT be covered under the warranty or the membership warranty, ( something I payed for already ) ( I even got the total membership ), I feel that they should be able to fix they're mistakes especially when they make the mistake to order the wrong item, 3,464$ is not a small mistake, and when they do make mistakes like this they should have a way to get the right item without me having to pay for the other one, ( the reason I couldn't return the other one and wait is I already installed a program that can only be one one device and both need to be next to each other in order to swap) I was told I would be able to do this that's the only reason I installed it on the first computer, for these reasons I'm never buying anything from here ever again!!!. read more

I was pleasantly surprised how the Conroe store's Geek Squad helped me replace a failed phone that had only several months use. The problem with the WiFi chip required a lead tech to request the special talents of other techs to transfer data to the new phone. The lead tech stayed with the project and patiently took the time required until I had every thing I needed. The service in the Conroe store and supply of value-priced phone were just right. They need more employees working. I waited 26 minutes in line for someone to help me in the mobile department. Waiting for someone to help me at the store is not unusual. Also, the people in front of me complained that they had been waiting 15 minutes or more for someone to help them. read more

I bought a TCL tv online & had it delivered. Best Buy uses third party vendors and that is a gamble on arrival time and ultimately condition. They price gouge you on set up for 200.00 bucks for a white glove set up service on 55 " + 80 " televisions. The customer service 800 line is a nightmare forcing me to call three times and be on hold over the course of three hours until I had enough and decided to go in physically to the local store after the phone service refused, absolutely refused to put a supervisor on the phone I tried to explain all of this to the manager at the store and he was remorsless, the most he would do was take 25 dollars off the 200.00 white glove delivery or I had to gamble with the third party for 100.00 which was previously done. My last option was to risk moving it myself to the Woodlands and see if the managers would give a return but I didn't want to damage it any more than it already was. I asked for help and they send they would send someone up. I waited ten minutes, no one showed. They called again, no one came. I could see other associates talking in the back of the store. We bought a Samsung washer/dryer set in May, 2021. Dryer broke in August but repaired under warranty. I forgot to buy extended warranty. Washer broke in November of 2022. Best Buy nor Samsung would stand behind their product. $800 was the price given to replace shocks with labor. A new one is $950! Eventually after badgering Samsung, they sent the parts & I had to pay labor. I had to buy a new set elsewhere because that took months. Now I have the Samsung set in the garage unsure as to whether it works. Repairman wouldn't try it. Best Buy is horrible! They sell foreign cheaply made products! Won't buy anything else there! Alec helped my husband with buying a new Android phone and getting all the data transferred over. Because his previous phone was an older model, it took longer than expected to transfer the data to the new phone. Alec kept us informed during the whole process. My husband was very happy with his new phone, that Alec suggested. We were so pleased with the service that we went back today with my older model android tablet. Alec discovered that we could add memory to the tablet. Alec loaded a sim card with extra memory onto my tablet and made sure it reflected that in storage. We left once again as happy campers. If ever there were poor business practices, this is the place. I was in the market for a 75" tv, and after looking at several tv's, I decided on the the Sony X80 75". I purchased it online Saturday, and planned to pick it up Sunday. When I woke up, I discovered there website placed the 65" version at the same price in my cart. When I arrived at the store, I wanted to change tv's for an even exchange. They stated their policy was to cancel the order, and my funds would be returned within the week. Then, if I wanted the above mentioned tv, I would then require to commit additional funds for the tv I wanted in the first place. The decision we made was to cancel the order, then purchase the correct tv. Fast forward two days, and the store charged my account again for the in store purchase! I strongly recommend buying from another business that is not named "Best Buy," if you don't want to tie up your paycheck. read more

This is my hometown Best Buy. I have always come for Black Friday since they opened as a family tradition. We get deals galore and always have an excellent experience. But TODAY: on our way home for Thanksgiving we stopped to get upgrades on two phones. iPhone 6S and Galaxy S6! We had the best experience with Jose at the Mobile Area. He explained everything efficiently and helped us through the process of deciding a phone plan. Way better customer service than stores like Sprint **cough cough** !!! Help! Our less than 1 year old computer has been in repair for almost 10 days - In a store that cannot be reached by telephone. The automated system does not provide that option which results in us having to go to the store in person. We have been given the run around by so many people since this began. We have talked to countless people - including two different managers who told us they would make sure the repairs got done. Which at this writing have not been completed. We called the customer care number. We were told they were writing up our concerns and would give them to their supervisor and they would take it to a committee to act on it. They promised to call us in 24 to 48 hours. That never happened. We called them today and were shocked at the treatment we received. They acted like they had no record of any of this. We asked to speak to the supervisor. That was a mistake. He actually defended the store and treated us like we were the ones in the wrong. My husband reminded him that we called for help. We asked to speak to his supervisor. We asked for a telephone number for corporate offices. He responded to both requests that if we wanted that information, we had to go into the store and ask. When we call someone to help us, we do not expect people to hinder the process by assuming our guilt and being sarcastic, rude, and condescending. At the end of the awful conversation, the supervisor of Best Buy Customer Care had the audacity to say, "Thank you for choosing Best Buy. Have a good day." We need help. read more

Whoever is in charge of hiring at this location needs to be let go. We waited in the laptop area for maybe 30 minutes knowing exactly what we wanted, and no sales reps were available to help. A few people asked a manager for assistance but were met with a response of "we only have two associates on the floor". I purchased a gas clothes dryer on a Monday and set up delivery for the following Saturday to avoid taking a day off work. The day of the delivery, the drivers showed up early 9:15 am) And removed the old appliance without difficulty. Then they discovered that the wearhouse sent an electric dryer(along with a gas dryer installation kit). I know mistakes happen, but Best Buys response to the mistake was terrible. I called to reschedule the delivery and was told that they couldn't reschedule until the incorrect appliance was returned to the wearhouse, after all the other deliveries were made. I was annoyed, but became furious when they said the earliest delivery would be in the middle of the week. The reason? They do deliveries on Sunday, but not in my area. So I get to go another week without a clothes dryer, because Best Buy doesn't know how to put the correct box on a truck. read more

Worst Buy. This company cannot figure out logistics or systems. When there is a anomaly, there is literally nobody that can fix it. Instead, everybody passes the buck, tells you somebody will call, wait 24-48 hours for...some pixie dust to magically solve something? Worst Buy seems to think it is my fault that their merchandise was damaged before it got to me. Worst Buy thinks I am being unreasonable to get an undamaged item within a reasonable amount of time. Worst Buy thinks that if the system shows "delivered" only a act of Congress can get it to reflect the correct status. At about ten minutes I went and asked for help. The employee said he would call someone to help. No one helped. At 20 minutes I asked another employee for help. He said he would call someone to help. No one ever did, so at 25 minutes we walked out without a purchase. We went to the competitor in the same parking lot and spent $4k on a new refrigerator. Absolutely horrible experience with Best Buy trying to buy 65" LG TV. Ordered online with the premium installation for $199.99. Scheduled delivery online. My credit card was charged seconds after I completed my order even though my delivery was several days away. On day of delivery, installation guy called me, said I likely needed a different mount. So now I must order this and reschedule my delivery. However, when trying to reschedule my delivery, my order was already in the "in process of delivery" status and couldn't be rescheduled. Called Best Buy every day for the next four days - no one could fix the issue. Created two escalation tickets for this, was supposed to be called back within 24-36 hours. Never received a callback on either ticket. Finally managed to get it rescheduled. Day of installation, delivery guy calls and asks me how far I am from the store. I say 50 minutes. He yelled "50 MINUTES?" Then he started making up excuses for why he couldn't come that day...couldn't hide the cords/cables, etc etc. Later that day I received a call from a specialist and we reviewed the order and I got rescheduled for installation the next day. That evening I get an email that my product is now out of stock. Yes, two weeks later after I PAID for the TV, now I'm told that it's out of stock. And they've had my money for 2 weeks. Called to question this, and the rep was incredibly rude and said I don't know why they take your money when the product is in stock, so I asked for her help to cancel the order. She said she would, then she hung up on me and then a few seconds later the order was cancelled. Still haven't received any refund. Worst experience ever I will never buy anything from Best Buy again. And just so Best Buy can verify my identify and my story, my order number was BBY01-806487572856. read more
