Good Afternoon, Our…read moreoverall experience with Lowes today in Cape Girardeau, MO was abhorrent. Chris, the cabinet guy was extremely unpleasant to work with. The countertop guy was on lunch and we were told someone else was going to help us. In comes Chris, and right off the bat it seemed like he was annoyed at being bothered. He made us feel like complete morons the entire time and then tried gaslighting me when I took offense to the way he was treating us. I almost snapped, but I had to calm myself down. Joking is one thing, this guy was berating me with pretty demeaning comments. I get you gotta work buddy, we all do. He needs to work on his customer service skills. He was unnecessarily abrasive and snickered at the way we said the name of some countertop (like it matters, get to work chum). He snickered when he read the measurements we took of our countertops at home, as if they weren't going to come out and measure them anyways at a later point in time. My wife and I felt extremely uncomfortable the entire time we were in there and he's pretty fortunate I didn't snap on him like I was super close to doing. Chris was straight up friction and extremely unpleasant to work with. We were both in shock of how rude he was. It's one thing to have a saltine cracker (dry) sense of humor, but it's another to constantly make someone feel like they are ignorant. Put Chris in the back where other customers don't have to have unpleasant experiences with him.

Took 3 weeks before someone could come out to look at my oven. They said it would be anywhere…read morebetween 8-4! I got a text with the date and the online status was the same day. Waited ALL day at home for them to never show and say they had me scheduled for the following day. I had to take off work for 2 days!! They said the part would be in on Thursday and they would be there Friday, never heard from them so I called Monday and she was CUSSING on the phone telling me that her step daughter was sick, I just wanted to know when I was going to get my oven fixed. Then the next day they called at 12:55pm saying the part was in and my appointment was from 1pm-2pm that day!!! Within 5 mins!!! She said he was running 30 mins behind but didn't get there until 2pm. Luckily my husband was off work and was able to rush home! Then I had to have them come back out later to fix something else that should've been done the first time. All in all, the communication is HORRIBLE and their time management is DREADFUL!! Was the job finally completed, yes but it only took a month! I would absolutely not recommend them!
