We had a hiccup with a manufacturer who would not work with us on our delivery to this best buy. It was a nightmare trying to get anyone to help our situation and we thought we were going to lose our appliance. We were probably one of those frantic customers, but Jacob was super patient and incredible to work with. Not only did he make the appliance pick up work for our schedule but he also hooked us up with a PC build at a discount! Definitely turned our nightmare into a dream come true and none of that would have been possible without him simply "caring" - something a lot of people forget to do anymore. Thanks Jacob! Went to Best Buy in Branson today to look at a Skylight calendar. Demo was not going and we asked several people about it so we could see how the product worked. Including the manager who said someone would have to come get it running and walked off. No one came. We talked with a total of 4 employees with no help. Not impressed with customer service. Not impressed with customer service or sales reps. Went in to purchase an I Pad to replace and older model. Sales associate not friendly nor helpful. Few customers in store at the time, Requested information and possible assistance with setting up IPad as the previous IPad had been a gift and already set to go upon receiving. Salesperson informed us that we could return and she might help us if we couldn't "figure it out". Overall impression......We were bothering her. Left store and went to another facility to purchase other items that we also had been shopping for and had planned to purchase same day. Note: We did "figure it out eventually" however this experience left us with the realization that we will NEVER return for further purchases in the future. IPad is great (we had studied and read the reviews prior to shopping) BB needs to offer a course in "Customer Service" for their staff in Branson. read more

They did a credit report without asking me. When I tried to call the store, I was connected to someone who wasn't in the store and it took them a long time to answer the phone. Then when tried to transfer me to the store I was disconnected. I may start shopping at Walmart. They were forwarding my call so I could leave a message so could call me back when they saw they had a message. Quite irritating. read more

Went in to buy a fire stick and Cory was a big help and very informative. But on checking out the man who was the checker didn't seem to be in a good mood. We went to Best Buy in Branson a couple of weeks ago to buy a TV because our local store didn't have the one in stock that we wanted. We were there on a Sunday afternoon, they weren't very busy, maybe a handful of customers in the store. We were greeted by 2 employees when we walked in and then never spoken to again until we checked out. We stood in the TV section at the counter in direct view of the 5 employees standing at the front door for about 15 minutes and no one ever acknowledged us. There was one employee that was walking to the back and saw us and went out of her way to avoid us. Their customer service is horrible. No wonder people prefer to buy online rather than go into a store and be treated like that. read more

The service was outstanding. I had several employees check on me and they were all kind and courteous. One young lady in particular, I think her name was Brittany, was very helpful and knowledgeable when she gave me her undivided attention. You can tell the employees love their jobs and that's a great reflection on the management. Definitely recommend this store. read more

This review is for the mobile department only. His IPhone would not work. It wanted to be connected to a different network and every time you tried to do that, it would say try again. We tried turning in on and off. We tried doing a hard set. No dice. He was lost. No checking on fantasy football scores or fantasy baseball. We searched and searched and to our dismay, there is no Apple Store in Branson. Our best bet, take it to a Best Buy store and see if they could do anything for us. Lo and behold, Eric came into our lives. He looked at the phone, asked some questions, looked at it again and put in a new SIM card. The gods had shown their love to us by sending Eric to fix the iPhone. And to top it off, he wasn't one of those people who tried to show you how intelligent they were. He was a very personable young man who even recommended some of the shows here in Branson. Would I come back here? As long as it wasn't Eric's day off, I would. read more

I'm new to the area, and so far I have been to this Best Buy twice. So far I've had great experiences and the employees are exceptionally helpful. I will even go so far as to say, my first attempt at purchasing and iPhone XR was an absolute fail at Walmart. Instead of the employee doing his job, he went on a tirade against Apple for almost half an hour. As a sales associate, that's not very sensible if you sell that brand products. So, I took my business next-door instead to this Best Buy and they were very helpful and very friendly. I know I will continue to do my shopping there. read more

recently made an appointment to get a iPhone 7 repaired. It needed a new screen. When I showed up to the Best Buy in Branson, MO, the first thing I asked was: "Do you have the screen in stock and how long will it take to repair. " A brash dork said: "Normally it takes about two hours. But you need an appointment and I have several people booked today." I said: "Okay, I have an appointment, now." Of course when I booked the appointment it was on my old BB account One I rarely use. Hence the appointment was under my former name! (under Coleman) Then I had to "prove" it was my appointment. Tom was livid. Anyway! So he starts to give me paperwork to fill out. I asked him again: "Do you have the glass in stock?" He said he couldn't check until I gave him the phone and filled out the paperwork. But it could now take up to 2 weeks at the most to repair it. Shit meet fan. WTH? Is this how Best Buy trains these jackasses? I snatched that phone out of his had so fast! You will be happy to know you lost a customer for life. Oh, I called a local place in TX. They are going to charge me $70 less to replace the screen. read more

Booooo 45 min checkout to "price match" as men walk around with their tiny tablets acting important and forgetting about THE CUSTOMER. Super cool to know lots about items or look them up on your tablet but when you love someone to two registers, promise ink at a partners store and then take sooo long to price match that the ink sold before you could order it? THEN walking out with my order I'm stopped by security because the checkout guy doesn't remove the security tag. Nightmare. Order on Amazon and kiss this experience buh-bye. read more

I've been shopping at this Best Buy since they opened years ago and im officially done. Since they've opened (somewhere around 2008 or 2009 I believe) I have made numerous purchases there, especially in the past 2-3 years. In all this time I've been faced with 3 receipt checks at the door. The first time I thought nothing of it until I left the store and realized I was singled out as a thief as it hadn't happened before. The second time I was in a rush and had someone waiting in the car so I couldn't argue with them. The 3rd time last year I was confronted by eagle-eyed LP John after a site to store pick up like I did on around half my purchases. i asked him why he suspected me of slipping extra merchandise in my bag and he responded by telling me he did it to everyone. I told him he was lying since I had made numerous purchases over the years and this was the first time he had ever stopped me. He then changed his story slightly to he only does it to people picking up at the service desk. Again this was a flat out lie. I made various complaints on the Best Buy support website and pretty much got a pre-packaged response. Skip forward to today 7/28/16 and I did yet another store pick up on an item that cost $8. That slick one John thought he would catch me for sure this time. Instead of showing the receipt I asked him for the number to corporate so I could make a complaint. Like last time he tried to defend himself saying he does it to everyone and again I pointed out his lie. In fact just over a week ago I did another store pick up when he was at the door and he didn't even ask me. Im beyond sick of these random bag checks and lies from their LP. They claim they are there to prevent losses through theft, but all they do is make paying customers feel like thieves. John may have thought he was being slick and preventing a loss over an $8 item I paid for, but all he did was cause me to no longer shop there. So now John caused a nice loss of potentially $1000s over the next few years. Im aware Best Buy stores in general do random bag checks, so I won't be shopping in them ever again. I'll still order smaller items online from time to time, but overall I am going to be shifting my business elsewhere. That 4K TV I was planning to buy from them in the next year or so? Chalk up another loss for Best Buy and their policy to make shoppers feel like thieves. So instead of the $800-1000 I was going to spend with them, i'll instead buy it elsewhere. XBox One S? XBox Scorpio? Im not sure on how much that will be, but they'll probably be losing $500-600 on that. Playstation VR, and Playstation Neo? They'll be losing yet another $800-1000 sale on that. Its simply amazing how someone paid to prevent loss creates even more loss through their actions. If they would just act like normal LP at every other store and watch their damn cameras instead of making their shoppers feel like criminals then there would be no issue. In the end I want to congratulate eagle-eyes John for costing his store $1000s in future loss when he should have just been paying attention to his cameras instead. I've worked retail for 22 years and know that every store has them all over. This is especially true in areas over registers where money is exchanged. read more
