Though it is a more narrow space, there was plenty of space for the kids to climb and explore. I did not love that they had arcade games in the back, specifically one with giant machine guns. Is that appropriate for a children's indoor playground? I brought my kid here to go on slides and bounce on a trampoline, not shoot aliens with a giant machine gun. The whole place is so cute with animals hanging from the ceiling and murals on the walls but the video games take away from that cute and innocent aesthetic. Food for thought for management!

The arcade is relatively small, but the bumper car area is quite spacious and doubles as a skating rink after 8 PM until closing, which only allows for about two hours of skating. The pricing is reasonable overall, though the skating entrance fee feels a bit steep. Arcade games are fairly priced, and the bumper car sessions offer good value. There's a dedicated seating area, but the snack bar is currently limited to just chips. Hopefully, they'll expand the menu in the future. In the meantime, it seems like bringing your own food is an option. The hallway leading to the restrooms is well-designed, and the bathrooms themselves are impressively high-tech, with some featuring two sinks on opposite sides, an interesting touch. I haven't visited with my kids yet, but it looks like we'll be making a trip soon. The real test will be whether they enjoy it. On a positive note, there's plenty of parking available on the side. My older loves animals, insects, and other non-human creatures so this place seemed perfect. They have many exhibits of foxes, monkeys, birds, reptiles, and other small-to-medium sized animals to learn about. Each exhibit provided a learning display. We made our way through the "center" in just under two hours- really taking out time at each exhibit. Wr only noticed a couple of other families with littles as well, making it super easy to move through. While we say snakes foxes parrots and more, we don't see the giraffe . We did learn while we were there though that the giraffe was just visiting as it was being trained by the nextdoor business for television!!! Apparently that's a thing. Love L.A.! It was also nice to hear of the center's efforts to help animals that had been in poor conditions due to wildlife trafficking. We called again when we were 30 minutes out to ask about height requirements. Our call was missed -- and they called us back, so they had our number. When we arrived, Lucine informed us that the party had upgraded their package, which resulted in the entire venue being booked. They had time to make signs for the party but couldn't take two minutes to call us back and save us the trip. Or save my 3-year-old the disappointment. When I said I'd be sharing my experience, Lucine handed over free passes -- then asked if I'd still be leaving a review. That told me everything about the gesture. It wasn't an apology. It was damage control. We may give them another chance, but this visit was sloppy and unprofessional. Call ahead if you're planning a trip. And maybe call twice. On top of that, we didn't have to worry about goodie bags because all the kids went home with a couple pieces of glow in the dark art that they made. I can't say enough about his business Art Rebel because it is from adult fun to kids but extremely unique compared to a typical art business for corporations or birthday parties as it has an edge to it and is very hip and unique in the style that they present to the customer in Art Rebel!
