I'll start by saying I was a huge skeptic when it came to acupuncture. That said, there was no denying that acupuncture has helped thousands of people for thousands of years - and continues to date. So, I gave it a try. Long story short, I'm no longer skeptical of acupuncture. I'm a patient that is being healed with the assistance of acupuncture. The entire staff at Best is top-notch. They do everything possible to make sure you are comfortable - mentally and physically. Daleon and other staff members educate their clients so they have an understanding of what, exactly, is going on. With all the questions I had (still on-going) for Deleon and Eddie, I am certain they are the two most patient men on the planet. I believe the staffs' patience and genuine concern for each individual client is what sets them apart from other acupuncture practices. Also, which I think it is very important to note, Best Acupuncture does not practice the "revolving door" theory on patient care. In other words, their goal is to treat you, however long that takes, and send you on your way when your body no longer needs the assistance of acupuncture. I finally, truly get what it means when someone says something is "life-changing". That's what acupuncture has done for me. There is no doubt that the acupuncturists and staff at Best made my experience better than I expected. I can't say enough positive things about this practice. My kids recently asked me if there was anything in life that could 're-do,' what would it be? I thought about it for awhile and answered that I wish I had started acupuncture sooner. Acupuncture has helped me handle stress better, decreased the discomforts of my monthly cycle, and extinguished my long-time, lower back pain; the herbs I take have helped with the occasional discomforts I experience as a Celiac. I was afraid of acupuncture before coming here because of my phobia of needles. The acupuncturists were fantastic at helping me with that phobia and even taught me breathing techniques to calm my mind. You can't even feel the needles! They're the size of a strand of hair. Now I get acupuncture once a week to help manage my anxiety (full time college student) as well as any other issues that pop up -strains, aches, colds, allergies. Before trying acupuncture, I was at the doctors at least once a month for one ailment or another. Now that I've been going to Best Acupuncture, I can't remember the last time I've visited any doctor. We often look at "alternate" medicine when all else fails and I will admit I did the same with acupuncture. Never again. I had reflux but it wasn't typical had a cough after eating. Traditional reflux medicine did nothing enter Best acupuncture. It's gone now thanks to a dedicated knowledgeable staff. As a "side effect" I also no longer have the cluster headaches I had for years. I can't say enough. They assess the whole person and take their time yet when you're done you're done.
