I come here on a regular basis and have always had a great experience. I leave here feeling much better than when I arrived. They listen to your issues and are always attentive to what your body needs. They start with the massage bed and I recommend #1. It's definitely a stronger treatment but well worth it. Then in with the doctor for the adjustment. I would highly recommend Benningfield. read more

I'm thrilled with the results I have seen from Dr. Benningfield in only 3 visits. On my first visit he did x-rays of my problem areas and worked a plan for me. I was able to pay for all 12 sessions up front for a discount which absolutely helps to stretch the HSA! I'm so thankful to have a doctor that is able to address my foot and ankle pain without recommending a boot or cortisone. The office has flexible appointment scheduling so that you are not held to a specific time. You schedule to be seen during a window which works GREAT with my schedule (and Lake Norman traffic!). Doc has restored all faith in the chiropractic practice. Both my wife and I go 3 times a week, which started with a serious back/shoulder injury last year. Instead of continuing to explore surgical remedies (for problems the MDs couldn't pinpoint), Doc got me back into shape in less than 3 months. He also helped rid my wife of the burden that comes with constant migraines. She rarely gets them now, and we used to count on 4-5 per week. Finally, Doc does this electric acupuncture which has really helped with our allergies. When it comes to payment, $50/visit IS steep, however, they offer a number of different payment plans to fit your needs and budget. With what we know and have experienced over the last year, the money behind the service is nothing compared to the benefits we have seen! read more

I wasn't a big believer in chiropractors. I am now. My 15 year old daughter had sprained her ankle playing soccer. After a week of complaining a friend suggested Dr. Benningfield. After being told we should have came in earlier and he could have helped her more, we both weren't sure just how much it helped. Two weeks later she sprained the other ankle a LOT worse. This was on Sunday. I took her in first thing on Monday. After 2 treatments on Monday and 1 treatment each of the following 4 days there was absolutely no doubt about how much it helped. She was able to participate in training on Tuesday evening. This would have never been possible with Dr. Benningfield's treatments. I can't recommend Dr. Benningfield strongly enough for young athletes with sprains, aches and pains. read more

This morning I took our son to Dr. Rob Benningfield - I'm so glad I did! My son leads a very active life and has had several head injuries. Coming from a multigenerational chiropractic family, we've always been treated for injuries and for illness by family members. Because of how we were raised we have always tried to seek treatment for our ailments both naturally and with the help and guidance from our trusted family members. But when you move across the country, you have to look to others for help... Dr. Benningfield made my son feel comfortable, asked him questions directly making him feel like he was part of the process, explained a few things to him and then adjusted him. Most of all I felt comfortable seeing someone else, someone outside my immediate family, hold my sons head in their hands. I'm so happy to report that my son said he felt better after leaving, felt comfortable while he was there, and would be happy to return to Dr. Benningfield. It's hard as a parent to make choices for your children and their wellbeing - so much information out there to sift through - but I feel confident that Benningfield Chiropractic will be here for us, and help to keep us all healthy and active. Please be informed of your insurance coverage before seeing Dr. Benningfield! I was given a piece of paper after my second visit titled "Treatment Plan" with just the cost they wanted me to pay upfront if possible. They quoted me 16 visits at the cost of $50 per visit to total $800. If I payed upfront they would give me a 10% discount. I asked if this was with insurance and was told I had to meet a deductible so it would be cheaper for me to pay out of pocket. This was a red flag and I went home and checked with my insurance. I DO NOT have a deductible and only have a $25 copay for each visit. I have decided to receive my chiropractic care elsewhere and was asked to bring a copy of my digital X-rays on a CD with me. Dr. Benningfield's office told me they are not an imaging center and could not give me a copy of my X-rays but I could come in and take a picture with my phone!!! Really? Just please beware and don't get screwed over and over pay!!! read more

No customer service. Just wants to get you in and out as quick as possible. I was there six minutes total on my second visit and that's after being on a mechanical bed for two. Sure took my money quick though. Wanted to see me three days straight. It's one of those "I can see you in 12 visits" kind of places. Good thing I didn't pay it all up front like they wanted. read more
