Read her reviews...many of the people with 1 star reviews are people who weren't even willing to see her. She cares deeply about people and her holistic approach and expertise can lead to challenging conversations about the potential sources of chronic or recurring health problems which can strike a nerve with folks who aren't ready or willing to explore a holistic solution. If you aren't willing to explore the potential source of your issues, she's probably not for you. From years of conversations with her I've learned that her studies and writing are about how often times trauma not dealt with from years ago can manifest in specific health issues - so you can see why if she brings up those correlations with some significant unresolved trauma, some people who just aren't willing to address that get immediately offended and go leave her bad reviews. Don't be deterred by those people, she is excellent at what she does.

Fang Mu is truly exceptional…read more My wife has been visiting her for different health concerns for many years, and Fang Mu has always been able to help. I personally became a true believer after my own recent experience. I had been dealing with pain around my kneecap for almost a year, and it was only getting worse. Doctors told me it was the beginning of arthritis and that pain medication would be the only way to manage it. Pills, ointments, and knee braces gave me only short-term relief. After just three sessions with Fang Mu, the pain almost completely disappeared. I now walk without any problems and feel like a new person. Fang Mu is highly skilled, caring, and dedicated. I cannot recommend her enough.

I had intense painful migraines that lasted 24-48 hours on average once a month, for the past 30…read moreyears. Sometimes I'd go 2 or 3 months without one. Sometimes I'd have 3 in one month. These had multiple triggers, from large hormone drops during the beginning of monthly cycle, significant changes in barometric pressure, allergies, intense heat or snow starting, extreme changes in temperature, stress, sickness, sinus pressure and getting too overheated through exercise. No matter the doctor I saw, no one could help me with western medicine. The medicines prescribed to me actually hurt my body and put me at risk for heart attack and stroke. I was left to my own devices: mind tricks, coffee, Tylenol pm, hot showers, CBD and lidocaine topical creams, hot rice heating pads, sleeping with my fist to my forehead and weeping. I'd get through the migraine in bed, trapped in my mind, praying for sleep. On top of this, I dealt with family and peers not really believing the intensity of pain I was in and saying they knew better and it was all in my head. I've had family members (in laws) accuse me of having a drug overdose and faking for attention, while I was raising three small kids, rather than believe I was in pain, let alone help me. It has all made me stronger as a person but I do not wish this fate on my children. I've been called 'too sensitive'. I cannot help how my nerves and veins react to the environment. This is highly genetic with multiple women in the family line dealing with this. Yes, I've tried extreme elimination diets. The only trigger I find is wine, which I don't really consume anyway. Chiropractics did not help me either. The Chiropractor explained that it couldn't help hormone shifts. This methods helps more of the physical aspect of bones being misaligned. A coworker recommended this place to me 6 months ago because it helped her daughter with migraines. I was highly doubtful since many doctors hadn't been able to help me in the past. June 12th 2022 was my last migraine that had me in bed for 2 days and missing work. I started visiting Mu Acupuncture once a week. On one visit, I was planning on a trip to visit my son in college and knew that a migraine was starting that morning. I went in and explained I was having a migraine in real time. I was treated with acupuncture and sat in the dark room for an hour with the needles in place. Acupressure beads were then taped to my ears for massaging when needed. Cupping was performed on my back and neck. I explained that I was terrified the migraine would progress as I visited my son. The Dr. just smiled and said "Do not worry. You'll be fine." She then taped acupressure beads to my left thumb and said to press on these for the next 3 hours if needed. I continued on with my day, with my visit and my weekend and on into the next week perfectly fine. The migraine dispersed over those couple hours after treatment. I am awestruck and amazed. This is truly miraculous This has changed my life. I'm scared to even say this has worked because I feel like I'm in a dream and I'll ruin it if start believing the migraines are gone. It has been 5 months and I have not missed a day of work or a weekend because of migraine. I still feel pain come and go but it's managed at a different level. I'm feel happy and carefree. I enjoy every weekend. I am out brunching with friends and doing chores and relaxing. It's so wonderful!!!!!! Thank you thank you, Mu Acupuncture! I feel like a normal person again. I am enjoying every day as it comes.

That said, there was no…read moredenying that acupuncture has helped thousands of people for thousands of years - and continues to date. So, I gave it a try. Long story short, I'm no longer skeptical of acupuncture. I'm a patient that is being healed with the assistance of acupuncture. The entire staff at Best is top-notch. They do everything possible to make sure you are comfortable - mentally and physically. Daleon and other staff members educate their clients so they have an understanding of what, exactly, is going on. With all the questions I had (still on-going) for Deleon and Eddie, I am certain they are the two most patient men on the planet. I believe the staffs' patience and genuine concern for each individual client is what sets them apart from other acupuncture practices. Also, which I think it is very important to note, Best Acupuncture does not practice the "revolving door" theory on patient care. In other words, their goal is to treat you, however long that takes, and send you on your way when your body no longer needs the assistance of acupuncture. I finally, truly get what it means when someone says something is "life-changing". That's what acupuncture has done for me. There is no doubt that the acupuncturists and staff at Best made my experience better than I expected. I can't say enough positive things about this practice. As I told one of the staff members, "I look forward to coming here [Best] like a child looks forward to Christmas." If you're looking for an acupuncturist in the Charlotte area and/or aren't sure if Acupuncture is right for you, I highly recommend you start at Best.
