That didn't stop him from randomly grabbing fist fulls of wet hair and hacking off six inches of once healthy hair. It will probably take at least a year to grow this out. She was careful with details and understanding what I wanted. Overall it was one of the better cuts I have had. After mine cut she did my wife who has very very long hair but also an undercut. We came in for the undercut but she did end up getting 4" cut off to ensure that the hair remained healthy. It was a good suggestion. I was apprehensive before calling (my hair had already been bleached twice that week at a different salon to no avail) but immediately felt at ease after talking with her!
