Katie immediately made me feel welcome and comfortable. She both listens to what I want and advises me. Because of my history (look, I went to Great Clips and similar in the past), we have always taken a path of conservative exploration. Here, I adopted a shorter style, added highlights, and even explored a little purple once! And I am a customer for life. I "cheated" on her and got what was supposed to be a simple trim elsewhere. It was terrible, but Katie worked for months, as my hair grew, fixing that mistake. I told Katie I want styles and colors that don't need monthly maintenance and I am delighted with the results. Today I paid $165 for cut and color. It took about 3 hours and was filled with conversation. My impressions: The salon has large windows and is bright with high ceilings. There is water and tea at there front. It smells like a salon but isn't overpowering. It doesn't activate my allergies and I get headaches from walking down the cleaning aisle at the supermarket! The music is contemporary but accessible (Budapest by George Ezra and Take Me To Church by Hozier played today). The chairs are comfortable - I am plus size and fit nicely. This is an excellent salon that is welcoming, listens to what YOU want, advises you if you need it, and does GREAT WORK.

This is the first time we had been there and had her cut our hair! The salon is cute, little old school but homie. Parking does suck so please get there early that was the only bad part. I went first and while my hair cut isn't hard it is a mens cut and often I find that barbers do a better job. However Summer knocked it out of the part. She was careful with details and understanding what I wanted. Overall it was one of the better cuts I have had. After mine cut she did my wife who has very very long hair but also an undercut. We came in for the undercut but she did end up getting 4" cut off to ensure that the hair remained healthy. It was a good suggestion. Overall we were very happy with our cuts, level of service and skill. We will be back!

Got a call about 30 min before my appointment saying that they had a client running long . I said no problem, I can mess around for 30 min. I walked in the door and they said- "oh we just called you- they are going to have to (insert hair talk I don't understand here) for the client so you are going to have to wait some more. Needless to say I bailed at this point. What would have made this right for me is if they had another hairdresser helped me out. Or another salon. Something!
