Goodge Place Market is a tiny food market in the likes of its bigger siblings like Leather Lane & Whitecross Markets in Easternish London. Here they only have a total of six stalls, but all of them serve delicious foods: - Burritos (Freebird Burritos) - Salad Boxes (£ 4.50 per box) - Thai food (Simply Thai) - Falafel (Hoxton Beach) - Köfte wraps/sandwiches That's really all I could've wished for...I feel so blessed having discovered this market!

Then I came across this market. I spied a salad stall, and decided to go for that. After all, it was pretty decently priced at £4 for a large box of sundried tomatoes, cous cous, aubergines, beans and other vegetables. To my surprise, the salad also came with a thick chunk of Turkish bread, which made it even better value for money. There's an assortment of other stalls here as well - Mexican, Thai, falafels - and they're here Monday to Friday.

It was just sitting up on the counter (I thought it would be made fresh and these were just an example set of teas) -- and I don't know about you, but I don't really want milk tea that's been sitting for a long period of time, you know? Plus they mixed boba with the jelly balls, I hate the jelly balls. I wanted all boba. This is a pretty big thing with bubble tea -- so I basically didn't like mine at all. A permanent fixture located in the hip Boxpark Shoreditch area. It's kind of like the container park in Las Vegas, except with great weather and 99% less douchy. Think of a falafel wrap, but with Seitan instead of chickpea balls. It was so good that my babygirl who normally is quite indifferent towards middle eastern food, gobbled up more than her fair share of the wrap. I was quite proud of that girl! Don't forget to ask for a side of hot sauce. Very friendly service and the wrap came out at lighting speed despite being fairly busy. They DO NOT skimp on the filling here. This ended up being the first thing I ate after my redeye (washed down with Turkish coffee and hard cider, clearly I know how to treat my body right). The line can be long, but it moves swiftly. Service is impatient so act fast. The pork sandwich itself is mildly overrated; I found too much of the meat to be fatty, and too much of the skin to be tough and stringy. But there were some very lovely and juicy bites in there, and the apple sauce is a nice touch. Worth a try, though I'd get someone to split it with you as it's quite hefty.
