On August 4,2020 our town experienced devastating damage caused by a hurricane. We had not serviced our generator (as advised) in a few years. And when we lost electricity, the generator did not "kick in." For medical reasons, we must have electricity. We called Yankee Electric and spoke with Gary K. One of the owners who had heated our driveway and installed our generator. 25 minutes later, Gary was at our front Door. He had actually walked up ( carrying equipment) our steep and "curved" 600 foot. driveway!! The driveway was even more hazardous than usual, because part of a tree, ( including branches and leaves) had fallen across the bottom section. Gary charged the battery, and it "went on!" He returned yesterday. ( our driveway had been completely cleared) in his truck with all of the needed equipment. He put in a new battery, added oil, and explained how we could conserve propane until our fuel company is able to completely fill our 3 tanks. We recommend Yankee Electric 100%.
