We all know what food they are supposed to be making, we all know what recipes are going to be used, and we go into these restaurants because they provide the same thing across the board, from town to town, state to state. So realistically what we evaluate when we look at these places is whether or not they maintain the standard (which means an average score), whether they provided some sort of exemplary service (this one was just normal service), and whether they provided horrible service (again, just normal service). So really, it was just a standard hum-drum experience at a Burger King, just like every other one scattered around the nation.

Although in new digs, the decor evokes the ambience of the original Shack, resulting in an interesting, funky place to enjoy their food. This time I had the mushroom burger with sweet potato fries, and the large serving of angus beef did not disappoint. Our friendly server made sure our diet cokes and water kept up with our thirst, and we were happy we could still count on our oasis The Shack. Speaker goes silent......after I guess he realizes we are still sitting there says "it's not ready, can you go to the curbside pick up?" During our wait not 1 car came through the drive through so why could we have not waited at the window. We contemplated counseling our order and just ordering through the drive-through. There must have been special chicken for mobile orders that we were unaware of. I had to end up going inside after waiting 10 minutes in the curbside pickup. After finally being acknowledged by someone I behind the counter they asked my name and said I had a mobile order and it was sitting over by the window the whole time instead of bringing it out. Good business plans (mobile ordering) is only good if you have capable staff to operate them. Very dissatisfied with my experience at this Zaxbys and we be sure to avoid in the future.
