They have a pretty set menu for the different days of the week with something very good everyday. My favorites were always the poppyseed chicken, gumbo and crawfish chowder. With a new preacher coming to town I wanted to take him to good restaurant that he would be impressed by. What better place than PCB&D. First we were welcomed by Roslyn with a warm and friendly welcoming. Reviewing the many options for a new customer. New preacher settled in on the salad bar and a panini sandwich while I went with my fav of poppyseed chicken and salad bar. Both meals were outstanding as expected. Service, cleanliness, freshness, and friendliness and were great. Excited about our next trip!

Open since 2010s, this spot has started to earn its place in the BBQ world, albeit being newer to it. There is an indoor seating inside near the gas station shop aisles. The ribs are cooked well with a nice wood profile, but neither very delicate nor particularly notable for their flavor of the meat itself, with smoke notes dominating. The quality of pork itself and the slightly tougher preparation could be better to rival Alabama's best. The BBQ sauce is loaded up with vinegar, completely overpowering the meat if consumed together, although to be fair, this may be a matter of preference for some BBQ lovers. The star of the show is potato salad which was perfectly balanced on its acidity, sweetness and overall flavor. As a whole, BBQ 65 is a pleasant stop to experience some traditional southern cooking and support a local business instead of tossing money into another "by the exit" fast food chain.
