This review is specifically about the ownership of the Subway locations in Monroeville…read more Over the past 4-5 months, both locations have consistently refused to accept Subway coupons, even when they are valid. I understand stores can be independently owned, but refusing corporate promotions across multiple visits feels misleading and frustrating as a customer of Subway. More concerning is the way the owners treat customers. On more than one occasion, they have come across as rude and dismissive, which makes the experience uncomfortable. The employees themselves are generally polite, but the attitude from ownership reflects poorly on the entire location. On top of that, the quality of the food has declined. The ingredients don't seem as fresh, and the overall experience just isn't what it used to be. This has been a consistent issue over several months, not just a one-time visit. I hope something is done to improve both customer service and overall standards at these locations.

There's another drive-in on the main highway, Ed's, which is quite good. B's was clean and well decorated. The menu has all the things you'd expect from an old drive-in. When we ordered at the window, the young lady was very thorough. We shared a double cheeseburger and onion rings. The rings were good but nothing special. The burger had two huge patties that were juicy and well seasoned. The mix of veggies was just right. One of the best tasting burgers I've had in AL in a while. It was a little pricey but plenty of food for the two of us to share. I'm not sure which of the two drive-ins is best, but I'm proud I ventured off the main road for dinner at B's tonight.
