Today s steak day. Had a delicious ribeye with one side, drink, and dessert. Every thig delicious and cooked to perfection Wifey went with the buffer. We thought the buffet would be dried out but to our surprise it was not only fresh and hot but also delicious. Did I mention was fantastic. Keep our drinks full and checked on us regularly. If you want a homemade Southern meal then this is the place for you. Lunch specials include Meat and 2 or 3 or veggie plate. Menu includes the the usual Southern fried, grilled or baked food. Located in the old Ryan's Buffett, the service and ambiance is friendly and quick the Southern charm. Just make sure to walk all your veggies or your server will remind you. Prices ranges between $8-9 for lunch plate special. Drinks are extra $2. Other plate prices ranges between $9-15. Steak plates are more. Food is good, I love the way they fix my ribeye steak. The service is always good. You have non smokers and a bar. There are private rooms for people that have party's for different reasons. I can call Gaston's and order and my nursing home is just across the street from them and they will try to bring it over to me. read more

Stopped here while passing thru for work. On a Monday it is one of the only places open that isn't a chain fast food so I figured I give it a try. The staff was very friendly and the service was quick. The restrooms were extremely clean and even though it was a bit outdated it seemed well kept on the inside. For lunch I got the meat and two vegetables. I had fried shrimp, macaroni and cheese, and field peas. This is the part where the three stars comes into play. Everything was way too over salted. Not sure if it just happened to be a bad day or this is normal but it really took away from the actual food. Not sure if I'd revisit or not. read more

Went for breakfast. The 3egg deluxe platter, which came with 2eggs, I was told it only had 2 and the menu clearly stated 3. The sausage was burnt, the eggs were very undercooked, the biscuit was like concrete. The toast was old. And got charged for sausage we did not order. We were charged for tap water. Decided to give this place a try. It's nearby the hotel that I was staying in in Thomasville. The outside of the establishment need some repair. The inside was set into the 1980s, and certainly could use updating. The wait staff was very nice and busy. The food was not notable. The biscuits and gravy was quite tasteless. The bacon looks like it was sitting in grease for a long time as was the hashbrowns. Very greasy food. They didn't mess up my egg. I would recommend that this establishment find a better cook but keep the wait staff. read more

Food quality was simply poor. Chef Ramsey would not approve. But worst of all, $.50 for water. That's right, $.50 for a cup of ice water ... not bottled water, just water from the tap. At the end of the day, price point was about 20% higher than it should be. read more

It is either a hit or miss. Sometimes really good sometimes just mid and sometimes not good at all. It depends on what you get and when you go. The buffet is okay, unless you go for Sunday lunch, then it is great. The dessert bar, salad bar, and anything breakfast is great. If you go I recommend the chicken wrap and sweet potato fries. This place is ridiculous. They seem to never change their items on the hot bar, its always the same thing so I decided to just stop in and get a salad since I'd had a long day & didn't feel much like cooking. When I came in with my 14 yr old daughter, the lady greeted us saying "What can I do for you girls?" You can tell I am a 36yr old women not a girl @ all. I thought it was really disrespectful but I let that go @ the same time giving her a stern look to let her know I didn't appreciate it. I proceeded to tell her I was getting a salad to go. The salad came to be $14.00. She said the salad was 6.62 & they weigh by the pound, guess my salad weighed around 4lbs. Lol, I will never go back again. The highest soggy salad Ive ever had. This really should be a 3 star but the hostess and waiters were all very nice and friendly. It's an old southern style buffet but not that many options like most Buffett restaurants. I thought the food was average at best but did leave the building no longer hungry. They do have a full menu which I did not get a chance to try. It was also inexpensive so I feel I wasn't over paying for the quality. If you come here then don't expect anything great but you can still get your grub on for an inexpensive price. read more

Found this little gem as we were evacuating from Hurricane Irma. We felt so welcomed! The food was amazing, good southern home cooked taste, the staff was very friendly even made sure we had a place to stay, and price was very fair! Will recommend to everyone I meet!! read more

Yummy! Get the buffet! Sweet people that didn't mind my fussy kids. The fried chicken was crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. The baked chicken was cooked perfectly. All the veggies were delicious. For an old Quincys/Ryan's it was very clean. I would go back here in a heart beat. read more

Their salads are awesome and i usually enjoy the food more if i order off the menu. I definitely recommend going for breakfast.
