The "cook" came out with bags of frozen chicken strips and asked the lady behind the counter if they were what she was supposed to cook! The lady went back to help her and I couldn't help but notice that her (the lady's) clothes were stained in the front and back. I understand eclectic decor and that this is in an old building, but it is in great need of improvement. The food we got was made from frozen products and tasted just like that; the fries were especially bad--hard and lukewarm. I don't often judge places this harshly, but it left a lot to be desired.

I understand stores can be independently owned, but refusing corporate promotions across multiple visits feels misleading and frustrating as a customer of Subway. More concerning is the way the owners treat customers. On more than one occasion, they have come across as rude and dismissive, which makes the experience uncomfortable. The employees themselves are generally polite, but the attitude from ownership reflects poorly on the entire location. On top of that, the quality of the food has declined. The ingredients don't seem as fresh, and the overall experience just isn't what it used to be. This has been a consistent issue over several months, not just a one-time visit. I hope something is done to improve both customer service and overall standards at these locations.

It always has a calm atmosphere to it. Some workers are better than others as in any place, but it is a small town so you get to know them. One of the girls today was talking constantly to her coworker about non-related work items while the other was fixing my sandwich. She did very good multi-tasking lol. Still very well pleased.
