She sent photos of the stove and bathtub, but after moving in, I found: * Debris and bugs along the baseboards, showing the floors weren't properly vacuumed. * Mold in the shower, which should have been noticed with a proper cleaning. * Dusting wasn't completed, even though dusting high and low was on the checklist. She said she wouldn't dust because she was injured and didn't want her team member to handle it. If she wasn't able to complete the service fully, she should have rescheduled rather than charging full price. When I requested a partial refund, she declined, saying she had to wait an hour before entry and another 30 minutes afterward. With the time lost, was that the punishment for not properly cleaning my home? She did offer to come back for a retouch, but at this point, I did not want her energy in my home again. If she would have cleaned correctly the first time, there wouldn't be a need to come back for a retouch. Her response to my complaint came at 1:52 am, which felt unprofessional, and she took no accountability. Though she was highly recommended by a friend, I was highly disappointed. The cleaner did do a decent job on the stove though. They also arrived early, which most of the time would not be an issue. However, I wasn't able to sequester my cats before they arrived, and they freaked my cats out. The heavy chemical smell did not help them. They were the highest-rated so he picked them. 2 women came and knocked on the door. They hadn't confirmed the time so he was slightly surprised, but was grateful all the same. They were efficient and thorough, meticulous and comprehensive. He was in 1 room while they cleaned and when they were done, he moved to the other so they could clean the room he'd just been in. I've never seen my bathroom and kitchen so clean! The sink and counters are spotless. They reached corners I'd forgotten about and were very thoughtful, folding clothes, putting papers into neat stacks, rearranging pillows to look better, and better rearranging and folding kitchen towels and hanging some on the dishwasher which I hadn't done before. The dishwasher was pretty new and I just didn't think to put some there besides on the freezer drawer handle and oven handles. They also cleaned fridge shelves and better arranged cooking supplies on the counter (they're there because I use them almost daily.)
