Best cheeseburger I've had in long time! Delicious! Nice staff also. A little off the beaten path but definitely worth the drive.

Two Rivers Restaurant - Fried green tomatos

I had dinner at Two Rivers Restaurant recently, and it turned out to be a memorable meal…read more I went with the grilled redfish and the bacon-wrapped shrimp, and both dishes were prepared with real attention to flavor. The redfish had a beautifully seasoned crust from the grill, while the inside stayed moist and flaky. It tasted fresh and clean, with just enough smokiness to give it depth without overpowering the fish itself. The dining room felt warm and inviting, the kind of place where you can settle in and take your time. Staff members were courteous and checked in at the right moments without hovering. Overall, Two Rivers delivered a flavorful, well-executed seafood dinner in a comfortable setting. I'd gladly return to explore more of their menu.

Also we're told that if we were 15 minutes late person that we would lose $50.00 deposit per person that was late. They were twenty minutes late in seating us and we were seated in a room with other customers tables and our table was especially cramped in our seating, even tough we had made confirmation for 16 and confirm (3) times before restaurant. I had brought in player to play 70s music for our event and had gotten permission before. About a minute after I had plugged in machine but had not turn on any volume. The owner came up to me in loud voice in my face and telling me I could not play the Karaoke machine which had no microphone nor was that our intention. He keep on and on even though I tried to explain I had permission was only going to play Pandora 70s music. I even lowered my voice to a whisper and ask him to lower his voice which he did not so i walk away motion him to follow me to a private area to continue the discussion which he finally did and after he was out of site of an audience did his voice lower in our discussion. He was unprofessional, rude and behavior like a spoiled jersey! Not only my opinion but 16 people agreed a our table but five other people came up to me and expressed their observations of his behavior. Also, some of our orders we wrong and when I spoke up to say I did not order my side which was a grits dish, because I do not eat grits, the waiter kept arguing that I did order that dish, finally after back and forth, he said he would bring me another dish. I ask for menu to point out what I order. Never received a menu or another dish. I ask for dessert menu, never received it as well! Myself and 16 at our table plus those at other tables around us will not be back and others we tell....we know many people in that area!

TX paid, but honey I'm definitely MISSISSIPPI raised…read more I was too busy eating for pictures !! Went to Berry's for the lunch buffet and ate good! I ate so much food for a reasonable price. I've had the dinner buffet before and it is really good as well!! Everything was seasoned well. I didn't eat anything that I didn't enjoy. I love how my drink was still cold because of the cup to they serve the drinks in. The ambiance is very family style and it is good for big groups. We had a group of 20 and we were accommodated well. Now here's for the breakdown of the buffet that I can remember. Meats: catfish, pork chops, chicken, blackened catfish, fried liver, bbq chicken, fried shrimp, and pot roast Sides and veggies: greens, black eyed peas, fried okra corn, fried green tomatoes, rice (sorta like a dirty rice), mashed potatoes, yams, hush puppies, mac &cheese, Mexican corn bread, regular corn bread, corn salad, salad bar, pasta salad, etc Desserts: plenty were available. I got the banana pudding and it was tasty Listen, check out Berry's seafood the next time you are in this part of Mississippi!!! They have crab legs during dinner hoursp

Apparently, I still do like buffets. It just has to be in a barn - in Mississippi! Food: Crab cakes are amazing! Turnip greens, mac n cheese, fried okra, and bang bang shrimp, all were delish! Fried catfish was pretty ok. Could have been a little more crisp - and seasoned. There were so many choices. Saturday night is seafood night. They also had flounder Parmesean, seafood pasta, crawfish etouffee, stuffed crab, fried shrimp, boiled shrimp, and crab legs. There was also steak and chicken tenders on the bar. Steak was good. There were quite a few salads to choose from and dessert as well. Note: You can order from the menu if you don't want the buffet. Service: Good - no issues. Price: About $40 per person for the standard dinner buffet. More if you add the unlimited crab leg option. Atmosphere: Country style buffet. Very southern themed. Waitresses are in overalls, religious decor, and worship music playing over the speaker and on the tvs. I actually appreciated the Maverick City playlist today. It was packed so if you go in the weekend for dinner, be prepared for a wait. There's a lady with a jewelry stand near the waiting area. Parking: If you can't find a spot in the main lot there's an additional parking lot behind the building. Overall: I really enjoyed it - particularly the crab cakes.

Summer, the waitress/bartender was so attentive but more importantly very skilled at making an exceptional old fashion. Every sip was a reminder of southern comfort. Warm like grandma and stern like grandpa. (The block ice is optional so request as needed). The oysters were the star of the show. My first bite tasted like a pleasant memory of New Orleans. Consider this a buttery Bayou banger. Don't be shy, squeeze that lemon and dip that bread and leave nothing behind. The south west chicken salad is not to be slept on! I had a pretty big lunch so I wanted something light, but still packed a flavor punch. Boy was I knocked off my feet! The heirloom tomatoes, fresh avocado and homemade chipotle ranch took me from Louisiana to Mexico quicker than any plane could. I could not wait to share what was shared with me! I took my walk back down the street feeling gleeful and ready to brag. I received this recommendation from a local Mississippian and I couldn't be more happy with my decision. In fact, initially I felt bad about hitching a ride with my colleagues and later ditching them (they went to another spot up the street) until I was given every reason to be proud of stepping foot in The Manship.
