I hired this company to install a gutter on my front porch for about $270. Shortly after…read moreinstallation, I noticed water was running behind the gutter instead of into it, which defeats the entire purpose of having gutters and could lead to damage over time. I contacted them to come back out, and they said the issue was due to a missing gutter apron. However, this was never mentioned or included in the original estimate, and now they are trying to charge additional money to fix a problem that should have been addressed during the initial install. Their own contract states the work would be completed in a workmanlike manner according to industry standards, yet the system as installed does not function properly. To their credit, they did come back out and mentioned offering a discounted solution--but I have not received any follow-up since then. At the end of the day, I paid for a working gutter system, and I don't think it's reasonable to be charged extra to correct an incomplete or improper installation. I would recommend getting very clear, detailed scope in writing before hiring.

And then got all the tools they needed and came back. I gotta tell you that Jake is a super great guy and very skilled at what he does and gave us a great rate. We were super pleased with his service and professionalism and he communicated really well and kept us in the loop and all of this was around the Christmas season. I believe he came to finish things up December 27, so we are super thankful he came and help us out. The piece fits great and looks perfect, he did a stand out job. He also put some hardware in for a deck sail shade we have. You will be very thankful for the service you get with Jacob's Architectural Sheet Metal. They can do many other things too as Jake and I were talking. I brought up my gutters and he said he could handle those as well. So he is a roof, gutter and sheet metal guy, great combination and service like theirs doesn't come around too often. If you need something and Jacobs can help, don't hesitate at all, you'll be grateful for how they take care of your house and improve it. Thank you so much Jacobs Architectural Sheet Metal. I look forward to using you again and seeing you guys grow your presence in Dayton.

Buckeye gave us an incredibly reasonable estimate on the new roof for the house, TWO flat roof…read morereworks, plus gutters AND they repaired the shady fascia board between the first and second floors, under one of the (no longer) flat roofs. Everything looks so good! We chose the same shingles for the house that we had put on the carriage house/garage, and although it's hard to see up top, they do look amazing. And the drainage around the house is SO MUCH BETTER. At the time the crew was out, we were having other repairs inside the house, and everyone did the trades shuffle with grace and humor. You haven't seen a crew work like these guys did until you realize they roofed a 7,200 sq ft historic house in just 3 days--including the flat roof rebuilds. So much attention and care was paid to the fabric of the home, and each flat roof got its own plan and treatment. They did our carriage house in early spring 2026, and the same attention to detail means we now own two very spiffy historic structures. Call Buckeye, you can't go wrong.

We have a 2022 Rockwood 5th wheel and a 2022 Ford F350 (short bed) that now have damage done to…read morethem because of negligence on behalf of The RV Clinic. Our camper turns at the pin box (Curt Turning Point pin box) not in the bed of the truck, the pin box has a wedge installed to lock it out from turning in the truck bed. They moved our 5th wheel and placed 2 bolts into the back of the Curt Turning Point, we have owned this camper since 2022 we have never had bolts in where they placed them. We dropped our 5th wheel off at The RV Clinc (July 26, 2025) to have the entrance door replaced and one other minor repair done. We picked the 5th wheel up on July 2, 2025. I went in to pay for the minor repair as the door and the labor were being covered by Lippert and Rockwood. Jessica Miron asked if we needed help hooking up I said no we do this all the time she replied I figured that. My husband and I hooked the 5th wheel up (we do the same procedure we do every time we go camping and is recommended by Lippert), drive across the back parking lot go to make a left hand turn around the building and we hear a terrible noise. Nelson (employee of The Rv Clinic) comes running out and says he knows what happened he left the bolts in the pin box. As he is taking the bolts out I asked him if that hurt the hitch at all, he said NO. We leave The RV Clinic turn left off of Tahlequah Trail on to SR 73, my husband applies the brakes because of red light (across from the Shell station) (he was going 20-25 mph) and the 5th wheel comes up into the bed of the truck and stops up against the rear window. I get out to access the damage, the camper is damaged, the truck is damaged and the tonneau cover trashed. I tried calling The RV Clinic no one answers, I left a message of what happened and said that we needed help. I started to walk back to The RV Clinic and Nelson and another employee are on their way and pick me up and asked what happened. We get our truck unhooked and they went and got a long bed truck and placed the bolts into the hitch (that they forgot to take out originally) take it back to the shop and remove what is left of the bolts that hold the wedge on. (The bolts sheered off when we were at their shop when we went to make the left hand turn around the building, hmm I was told no damage) When we were back at their shop and they were taking the sheered bolts off the owner Joshua Miron keep saying to my husband do you know how much this is going to cost you referencing to the tailgate, 5th wheel, and tonneau cover he said it repeatedly. I said to my husband he isn't taking any responsibility for this at all. When I asked him what kind of information we needed to get from him he said like what and I replied like the name of your insurance company. He said this was a parking lot incident and that is the responsibility of our personal insurance , and I would have to speak to his wife for that information but she had gone to book club. I went back the following morning to speak with her she gave me the name of their insurance agent and stated that she talked to him and was told your truck, your camper, you were towing your problem. They are taking no responsibility whatsoever. We would have taken it back to them for the repair to the 5th wheel. We understand that stuff happens, but when you laugh and say I see those bolts sheer all the time and won't take any responsibility no way will we ever use them again. (I spoke to Rockwood & Lippert about bolts sheering off and they both said if that were case they wouldn't be making or using that hitch) We took our 5th wheel to the manufacture (Rockwood) for the repair, so a door and the installation that didn't cost us turned in to us paying out over $1,500.00 for their negligence (stayed in a Air Bnb, gas and food plus deductable on both vehicles. Plus the truck will show up on Carfax as being damaged. Total damage $8000.00 to truck/camper. Also they left their brad nailer in our camper. Yes I returned it to them. Beware if you take your camper to them make sure you check out everything!

The HVAC company in turn blamed this company who repeatedly denied any responsibility for paying for the repairs. The owner of D&G went so far as to contact the county I live in, another neighboring county along with the city I live in all in an effort to prove he had no liability for the damage done during the replacement of the roof. Our project was labor intensive as it needed the removal of 2 layers of old shingles with the home being redecked. My wife and I decided to go with the 1/2 inch plywood over the osb for the redecking with my understanding that plywood works better with humidity long term. We also decided on the GAF Timberline UHDZ over the HDZ because of the better warranty, increased impact resistance and a slightly better look. Both the plywood and the 20% heavier UHDZ shingles were a minimal up charge. Entrust was the only company of 3 which addressed the intake the roof needs for proper circulation. Prior to the roof replacement we were having higher than healthy roof humidity. Long vertical intakes were installed at the bottom edges to match the new peak outlets.
