We thought we were getting the best of the best in the area when we decided to go with Berrry's. (Because that's what we were told). The sales people spent just as much time talking down other pool stores as they did talking about the positives of their products. That was pretty tacky in my opinion but we liked the sound of a sturdier frame above anything so we went with them. A year into owning our pool we needed repairs because there was a rip in the lining caused by a storm. But that also caused the lined to come unattached. We reached out for assistance, it took multiple visits and phone calls over a span of months for someone to finally come take a look. When he finally arrived he told us, "I don't fix liners. I fix filters but I'll take pictures and take it back to the store." And proceeded to talk shxt on the phone with his manager about us. My husband decided to go into the store to talk to someone face to face again now that they had pictures from one of their own employees. Yes there was anger involved but is laughing at an injured veteran the day after memorial day, because he's frustrated your store is treating him like a laughing stock really the most respectful way to handle the situation? At the end of it all, they laughed him out of the store and told us to just we should just go our separate ways. Essentially, eff you we're not fixing anything. We were not looking for any freebies. We just wanted to give then our money to get the pool fixed that they made so many promises on. The owner herself was out on the floor laughing. Be warned, once they've gotten your money, you're just another paycheck to them and the customer service you thought was so great will become non-existant. read more

Horrible customer service! Spent 12 grand on a pool a year ago. Its falling apart! They lack communication on their part and then blame the customer. I've been trying to get it fixed for a month. They then told me to go somewhere else. I definitely will. Horrible way to treat a purple heart recipient that needs a pool for physical therapy! read more

Apparently, things have changed since the first review 4 years ago. Maybe it has to do with the for sale signs all around the place. They say they are not going out of business, but they have an issue telling the truth. I bet they are gone in 6 months or less to the benefit of consumers. We were told when shopping we would get a tentative date to install by order of who paid, but that changed when we wrote the checks. We were told we'd be called. When we were called, it was to let us know they would be here in a few hours to drop equipment and install the next day. There was no advance notice of any kind. We were told the installer would not be here to finalize on a Friday and skip to Saturday which was fine until he called and said he was on the way Friday. At my work sites, I clean up after the cabling and such is done. At my house, trash was left all over after installation. This is shoddy at best. The installer did a great job at getting it level, but changed what he said daily. The pump was not where we originally agreed upon when he cited drainage. I was away or I would have mentioned the obvious drain where it was originally supposed to be. They also put the basket upside down in the skimmer. It may be they are new installers, although we were told they had a lot of experience. While the pushy sales people will blame the contractor, they are the ones using him and they are the ones who said he did a great job. They do not get an out on this. Further, they held our pool vacuum hostage until we brought a water sample in. They said it was too fragile to put in on a truck. Oddly, I have a super cab the same as the installer. His back seat was empty and they claim the vacuum was too fragile for him to transport. I put it in the truck bed and it seemed to make it fine. Obviously, they held it hostage to force us to listen to their overpriced chemical spiel. I take exception to the high pressure sales, denying responsibility for anything and holding equipment we paid for to force us into more high pressure sales. I was unaware my wife paid for the startup chemicals (which we were told was included) or I would have told her to leave them. We can get higher quality less expensive chemicals at Walmart. They tell you it is a complex process, but that is just another untruth. It's not like you need a chemical engineering degree. My advice is to get a pool and contract the installation out. This way you have a way to hold the installer accountable. Since these people will not be doing warranty work, I will be dealing with the pool manufacturer anyway. Apparently, repeat business and word of mouth means nothing to them, which is short sighted. I spent more money on my spa/hot tub than my wife did on the pool but I got it at a reputable dealership. Had these people not been shady, they would have also sold a spa. I know the customer isn't always right, but customers should be treated better than sheep to be fleeced. Especially when people can buy online and at reputable places, you'd think there would be better customer service here. Prepare to be surprised. read more

I had gone into the store and found two service desks to choose from upon entering. I needed a part and was not certain where to go. No one said , hello we will be right with. No acknowledgement at all. After a minute more of being ignored, I moved to a parts desk. That man was on the phone. As I stood now in the middle of the showroom floor an employee passed. I said excuse me. The employee passed without acknowledgement. I was shocked and without thinking said, excuse me even louder because he had heard me the first time. He then turned and as I began to talk. The employee turned and walked away!!!! I could not believe it. I do not plan on returning. That wasn't bad customer service that was unexceptional. read more

When we stopped by to look at purchasing a pool we were treated like gold and were made to feel like this was the best place to purchase a pool by Melinda. She had us sold with her great sales personality and family atmosphere. My husband and I went home looked over everything talked about it and decided to go with it because they had everything we wanted in stock. So the next week we paid in full, we were told it was taking 6 weeks to install. This was April. Since then we have been emailing it looks like Sheila S. and she has basically informed us that they are just now installing pools purchased last year and blamed it on the pandemic. Ok, you know I took it as I don't know her so her rude worded email could just be here. Her email today was the same and now we are told we will be installed on 07/26/22. Melinda was awesome in selling us the pool but the aftermath has been a total disaster. It's like they waited till they got our money to tell us the truth. We feel swindled. read more
