Marcy (who works in the front desk) is very knowledgeable about the regional center and has contacts to help expedite the process. We've worked with Brittney for about a year and a half, and she has been instrumental in helping my daughter gain the confidence and skills to work on her expression. The therapy is play based and she makes it fun! We consider her more than our therapist, but a friend. Cheryl is amazing as well. She is sweet and is great at getting shy kids to open up. Brittney Goodwin was our speech therapist. There are seriously no words to describe her dedication. She would text us and call us in between appointments to check in, asked about the overall health of our family, and wrote extensive emails and reports to assist in our transition to the school district once our daughter aged out of the regional center. Also, the office manager Marcy fought to keep our services when they were prematurely terminated because we moved. She did that completely on her own without us even having to ask. The best way I can describe this office: true patient advocates. This is an overdue review, but thank you for everything!

i'm giving CDK 1,000 stars…read more i could never overrate this institution. my family owes them more than we could ever repay. my son was diagnosed with a speech delay, had some gross motor delays and sensory issues when he was 18 months old. from then on he received Speech Therapy and Occupational Therapy here. he also qualified to be in their special Good to Grow program, which is an amazing program focused on early intervention for children ages 24 - 36 months, with Downs, Autism and various other special needs. where do i begin. all over the board, i only have good things to say. the therapists here took such detailed care for my son. i was never in doubt that he was in good, expert hands. his group never had more than 10 children, and the ratio of therapist to child was always so high, especially since weekly parent participation was required, there were times when it seemed the ratio was equal in adults to children. the therapists have a weekly meeting to touch base with each other and update the entire staff of progress and needs for each child. thus, whichever therapist my son came in contact with, that therapist was aware of all his needs. when my son started, i wasn't sure how the program would help, or if they could be of help. i really had some doubts. but within three, four, six months, my son improved step by step. these therapists were so on top of my son's case that they were always a step ahead of me. they had suggestions and insight for me before i could even think to ask. CDK/G2G was a godsend. i don't know how we could have overcome all the challenges we faced during my son's second year. he is a completely different tot from the one who began the program in January 2014. when he started he barely spoke five words... today he can talk in 4-word sentences, without having to be prompted. he recently turned three and graduated the program. he no longer needs any Occupational Therapy and i am amazed with how far he has come. he still does require some Speech Therapy, but i am so confident that within a year he will be right where he needs to be. CDK really set him up for success, and not only helped my son, but helped me and my husband with valuable tools and insight. the program requires attendance to a weekly parent meeting, which provided support and tools for parents. the program also provides a monthly home visit by a therapist to address any current challenges. the therapist would always follow up with an email and follow through with any discussed strategies. the therapists here are highly educated, each having at least a master's degree, and some even having doctorates. they are so enthused with what they do, and even more significantly, they ALL care so much for their patients. absolute rockstars and saints. if you have a child with any special needs, please look into CDK. you will be in good, loving hands.

My son attended the summer camp this past month and ended up getting injured. The facility called…read moreme and said he had sustained an abrasion on his back due to a shelf falling onto him, that was pulled down by another child. This is concerning and dangerous. The staff should be paying better attention to the children at the camp, and bookshelves and other shelving should be secured into the walls . This is a huge safety issue, and there should be better systems in place to ensure the safety of the campers, especially as it is a facility for children with developmental disabilities.

Gaby talked to my wife on the phone for 20 minutes and was extremely helpful, not even pushing us to book an appointment but truly just trying to help. We ended up scheduling an appointment for the next day. We came in with so many concerns and questions and a lot of anxiety around the decision of whether or not do a frenectomy. Both Gaby and Maria (occupational therapist) took their time with us, did a very thorough assessment with our son, made us feel a lot more at ease about the whole process and were extremely informative. They were so good with him and knew exactly what to look for. They shared lots of context and experience with us along the way. We felt like they had a very human and unbiased approach to everything, including sharing their own personal experiences as parents themselves. We came away feeling at peace about what to do next, which for us was to not to do the surgery and just focus on developmental exercises at home. The office was really cute, clean, and had a nice atmosphere too. My wife and I walked out and immediately said we have to write a review because it was such an incredible experience. Plus, this practice deserves way more reviews than it has! Thank you for really helping us out and making us feel so much better about a tough decision.

After her evaluation with my daughter, I knew that I had found a unicorn in SLP practices. Gaby was sensitive to my daughter's needs and temperament and her methods were play based. My daughter was actually excited and willing to attend every session with her- which says a lot. My daughter also worked with another SLP, Shayli, whom my daughter also loved very quickly (again, this says a lot). Both ladies have been so instrumental in the speech progress and growth of my now 5 year old. We are forever grateful. They are truly amazing, kind, and supportive. I highly recommend to anyone who needs SLP services for their child!

My son just graduated out of speech and we are over the moon…read more As I'm writing this, I'm reflecting on the mind blowing progress my son has made in just 3 years with the incredible help of Mrs. Teresa. When we first started here, my son was speech delayed and no one understood the few words he did say. Mrs. Teresa was able to target his problem areas and gave my son the tools he needed to communicate clearly and effectively. Mrs. Teresa is kind, gentle, patient, stern when needed, and truly invested in my son's growth and progress. They worked hard together during sessions, and she always rewarded my son with play time at the end which he appreciated. She always pushed and challenged him -- every session the improvement was undeniable. My son is a better speaker, a more confident communicator, and is able to focus and apply himself so much more now. I have a daughter at a different clinic who has now seen several different therapists, and I truly don't think with them all combined they could do what Mrs. Teresa does. She is an expert in the field and my son and I were truly blessed to work with her! Shout out to Miss Rosa who runs a tight ship! She truly keeps everything running smoothly, handles everything from scheduling to billing to whatever else falls on her lap, and she always does it with a welcoming and warm smile. She's the first and last face we see -- the face of the company. It's bitter sweet to say goodbye. Thank you sooooo much to Mrs. Teresa & Miss Rosa for being a part of our lives for the past 3 years.

I noticed my son wasn't talking like his peers and even though he was still quite young, early intervention has made such a big difference for us and I owe it all to Grace. Flash forward two years later and my son can express himself and be understood. We used Grace in addition to Regional Services and I will say that it made a big difference for us to also use Grace and get more individualized attention. Grace really involves the parent in every session, teaching you simple strategies to incorporate in your day to day to promote speech and sounds. When my son started he was a shy quiet boy with a limited vocabulary. Not very expressive. With the help of Miss Ashley he became talkative, expressive, silly and so much more. I truly believe she helped him come out of his shell and feel comfortable expressing himself. My son felt really comfortable and truly enjoyed going to each session. They are a great team to work with. I dealt directly with Miss Ashley for any cancellations or rescheduling. When we started in the summer I didn't get the time slot that I wanted because I had to commute from school. But by the time school started there was a time slot that was better for me. So don't let the time slots discourage you from a great team. On that note when we started we worked with Samantha and she was equally as great. We will miss Ashley. We are eternally grateful for all the work Ashley and Samantha did for my son!!!
