Y'know: the "I'm cooler than you and you should kiss my ass before giving me your money" vibe. No such vibe at Music Max. I've never felt more welcomed in a place selling musical instruments. The prices are competitive: I recently bought a used Mexican Fender bass at Music Max for less than I could find on Musician's Friend or other online sites, with the added piece of mind that came with knowing that the owner, Al, backs up his sales with service. My son is taking lessons here, and I've recently started bass guitar lessons (old dogs should keep learning new tricks), and every instructor I've met here seems professional and personable. Music Max is an example of a local business putting its best food forward.
