I am surprised no one has reviewed this park. This is one of the few if not only park I have seen in Hialeah Gardens. The park is safely nestled behind the Hialeah Gardens Police Department and for the most part is fenced in. Dont let the busy feels of 103rd st fool you, this park is nestled under the shade of the tall pine trees (which I am glad are still around).
If you have an avid climber this park is for you! There are so many structures to climb but at the same time I feel like this park is better suited for older kids (Maybe older than 4). The play structures span more than 2 levels making it hard for the little ones to reach the top and when they are at the top it is really hard to maneuver the area to get into the slides. My 3 yr old found this structure quite intimidating when leaving the second level.
If you do come to this park with a small child the good thing is there is a small path to walk, 2 swings for infants, several benches, and a nice picnic table under a gazebo. I wanted to give this park 5 stars but I find it quite dangerous as the structure are very high and I found spots where small hands and feet could get stuck while climbing a tunnel.
I also recommend coming to the parl in earlier hours so that you can find a parking spot. Simply pull in as if you are going to the police station and loop around behind it. read more
