This park is incredible! So much to do, so many things in the playground even 2 ziplines (seats) and one that's for younger kids. It's big, clean. The only thing I've noticed recently is the amount of garbage that people are dropping in the park. Love bringing my son here!

I really love everything about Coral Gables and their parks are just one of the reasons. I was driving through through the neighborhood one afternoon when I spotted this oasis of fun and fresh air right in the middle of the neighborhood. It urns out this is a very special park. In 2019 the city accepted a matching grant to expand and renovate the park and build their first all inclusive playground with sensory sensitive equipment for all ages and abilities. Play structures include a zip line, musical equipment, a multi person seesaw, play mounds, and merry go around style spinner. The ground is covered in ADA accessible artificial turf. I love how the city thought to include all children when redesigning the park. The children really looked like they loved the concept too as I saw many happily playing on the equipment. A new water fountain that can fill reusable bottles and a bike rack were also added. It looks like you are able to have birthday parties in the park. In addition to the new playground equipment, the park also has a tennis center with 13 lighted clay courts. Near the parking area were large ficus trees kids were enjoying climbing. This is a really great neighborhood park, but I wouldn't expect any less from the City Beautiful.

It's still an amazing park, kept clean with different sections for kids to play with. There are slides, swings, musical items, climbing bars as well as ropes, and the most popular spot is the swinging ropes and chair from one side to another. They have tennis courts, walking side walks, EV charging section, and green turf that makes it safe for kids. The park has lots of trees that brings breeze which makes it nice. My kids and I enjoy coming to this park.

Our next summer with kids adventure take us to Salvadore Park Tennis Center located in the center of Coral glades and surrounded by incredibly thick vegetation which makes the place stay cool and with a pleasant temperature to enjoy with the family. The place has tennis courts for anyone who likes this sport and a playground for the little ones and also why not for the adults who visit it if they want to share the experience of playing together with their children. You don't have to worry nothing about how you park the car because the park have a lots of parking spaces for everyone come, high recommend for family and kids spending time together.

Excellent and clean park! Great and friendly staff! It was our first time and we loved it. The tennis courts are clay and fill up fast, so get there early. The noise from the park dwindles after a while, but it's nice to hear children playing verses them being on their electronic device. Coral Gables is amazing and Salvador Park is one of the hidden gems that are there. Check it out and enjoy!

Beautiful Coral Gables park, very clean and safe. The park has 2 playgrounds one for the small kids and the other one for the bigger kids. Lots of shade throughout the park, the only minus is that it gets very packed since everyone started posting it on instagram. Now the local coral gables gem is no longer a secret. I recommend going here first thing in the morning so you could enjoy everything the park has to offer.

You still have to pay for parking. I recommend the parking lot next door. The Pirate Park Playground was built by Superior Playgrounds who was tasked with designing a one-of-a-kind pirate theme play space to spark creative play and provide a safe place for budding buccaneers to play. The playground is made of recycled material like milk jugs and was created to be corrosion resistant so that it would always look good in this salt water coastal ecosystem. Located only 100 feet from the beach, the playground is fenced in for safety. There is a large pirate ship for older children to climb on and slide down and a smaller area for younger privateers. The crows nest with rigging looked especially fun to climb. Other playground play structures include clownfish and blue tang fish spring riders, a custom octopus playhouse, and palm tree shade. There are four triangle sail shades and poured-in-place safety surfacing to protect little knees and bottoms. Bathrooms are nearby. During my visit the playground was filled with kids and their families enjoying the nautical theme. This unique play space fosters imagination and physical movement for the youngest North Beach residents and visitors.

By 2013 it was one of seven parks in the area found to be contaminated by heavy metals from the old West Grove incinerator closed in 1970. Douglas Park was closed for three years to remove antimony, arsenic, barium, copper, iron, and lead from the soil. Miami spent eleven million dollars to decontaminate the parks. To clean Douglas Park the top layers of soil containing heavy metals were excavated and removed and then a protective lining: was installed to prevent any remaining contaminants from reaching the groundwater. Clean soil was then added to the top. Douglas Park reopened on June 29, 2017 and today it is a thriving green space enjoyed by members of the community. I enjoyed the walking trail and the Christmas tree already set up in the park.
