She recommended a few options for care and also gave her suggestions but in the end left it up to me to decide what I wanted to do about my health. This not only made me comfortable but happy that she was allowing me to choose. I am so grateful for and extremely happy I found her. Dr Thacker's staff is extremely kind, patient and knowledgeable, I would specifically like to mention Katie who I love so much, she always makes me feel comfortable and at home when I visit the office! Chris also made the check in and checkout process easy and simple and was so helpful and knowledgeable when it came to insurance and payments. The facility itself is very clean and always at the optimal temperature so you remain comfortable even while waiting for your appointment. In closing the flexibility, willingness to work with my schedule and fit me in at the last minute really meant a lot to me while receiving care. She always checked on the progress even after delivery and suggested few best options for lactation, nursing and took care of every step even before delivering my baby explaining things to deal with ,clearing my doubts all the time. Her staff is very friendly and helpful and she is available on call/text for emergency questions and any help. I was seeing her for a recurring issue which she assured me she would be able to tackle after I explained that I had seen many gynos for this same condition and didn't want to be put on the same meds again. she said she would work with me to figure out a different approach and then never did. After the first appointment she told me she would do some more research on new meds and alternative treatments for my symptoms, but the second appointment rolled around, and she started the appointment with "why are you here again?" she didn't remember me and also failed to read my paperwork beforehand or do the research she meant to do-- she asked me if I had my year exam and I said yes I literally just had it done with her the week before. she started to piece it together and said she would do the research she previously promised and get back to me-- this went on for multiple appointments-- all of which I was fully charged for which was very upsetting-- i felt like I was being strung along, she'd book another appointment and fail to have any answers by the time it would roll around just to ask me to book another one. she was very kind but ultimately unhelpful and unprofessional. I also want to add that the portal system they use is really convoluted and confusing, messages I sent through the portal often were not responded to, and on the flip side I happened to have an outstanding balance on there that I was never notified about (no phone, email, or text reminders!) other than it just sitting there under a different tab which also felt kind of strange.

First off, the Center for Women was very accomodating in squeezing in an appointment last minute because I needed a prescription asap. And yay for it being so accessible (bus 71 or 73 stop right there and run frequently). I did have to wait a while in the exam room, but once the doctor came in, I knew it was worth it. Dr. McGaraghan gave a gentle exam that was as comfortable as it could be. She solicited my questions and thoroughly answered them. She was friendly, nonjudgmental, and appears to be a down to earth person.

My biggest regret was that my tiny human didn't decide to make his arrival in to the world on the night she was on call because I would have loved for him to deliver him. She was SO judgemental and arrogant and it really turned the situation sour for me. Even networking with the anesthesiologist while performing the C section as if I was invisible and not even there. So unprofessional , I can't even believe it happened. After the birth, nurses on the maternity floor came in and shared information that was private with me that Dr Hardiman had absolutely no medical reason to share. I did complain to social service nurse but probably should have followed up with HIPPA filing. With infant there's too much going on, so never did, but I regret having to experience baby's birth with her. I

Dr. Cruickshanks performed my myomectomy this summer. I know many women have severe symptoms such…read moreas painful heavy periods, weight gain and bloating. My biggest symptom was pressure on my bladder, particularly when I would run. Luckily I never had pain with my periods or heavy ones at that. I went to get this checked out because I was feeling as though I had something inside me that should not be. After ultrasounds and examinations they found that my uterus was filled with fibroids. They determined that due to the size of the fibroids and my desire to want to try to have children it would be best to have them removed. From the beginning Dr. Cruickshanks was very reassuring that it would be in my best interest to have them removed. I had my surgery on June 28 and everything went very smoothly. However, the recovery was something I did not expect. I stayed in the hospital for 2 nights which I was grateful to have the chance to stay the second night. Getting in and out of bed for the first few days was terrible. Dr. Cruickshanks came in the next day first thing in the morning. She was very attentive to all my questions and needs. When she should be pictures of the fibroids I could not believe what had been growing inside me. I was so grateful to Dr. Cruickshaks to have performed my surgery. She removed about 4 fibroids and had to leave one behind simply because it would be too complicated. Which I am grateful that she made that decision because it could have resulted in a hysterectomy or excessive bleeding. Of course my concern for the scar was always in the back of my mind, and the doctor cut right on the bikini line with such precision. I am now using Bio-Oil to even out the color of the scar but it is right on the bikini line which I am sure will fade in a few months. I highly recommend Dr. Cruickshanks without reservations.

Here is a laundry list of the terrible experiences I had with her over about a year and a half before I finally had the sense to get the hell out of there! 1. She gave me the HPV vaccine the standard three times. Each subsequent time I went to her office she would ask me if I was interested in getting the vaccine-even though my medical records were right in front of her. This woman does not have time for you! 2. She has WAY to many patients and is totally unprepared for appointments. I routinely had to wait an average of at least 45 min before being seen. It was impossible to get her on the phone. 3.I had all the symptoms of a UTI and went to her office for a urine test in hope of getting antibiotics. After a few days of severe pain, she called me and told me I didn't have one. I suffered a few more days until I started to get a fever. I went to a walk-in clinic at the hospital down the street and they said I had blood in my urine and a MILD KIDNEY INFECTION and I was lucky I caught it when I did or else I would have had to be HOSPITALIZED. That should have been the last time I saw her. 4. I went for one last pap smear last fall. She called me several days later and told me I had HERPES. That I was having an outbreak and prescribed me valtrex. I had NO symptoms, she did NO blood test. By this point I was skeptical of anything she told me. I went to Planned Parenthood, got my blood tested. No herpes. And the nurse said there is no way Dr. Falzon could have tested for herpes without a blood test unless I was having an outbreak. I called Dr. Falzon to give her a piece of my mind. Instead of suggesting she do a blood test herself to confirm, she insisted I have herpes. This was last September. I have been tested four times since then-paranoia, a side effect of being a patient here-and NO HERPES. THIS WOMAN SHOULD NOT BE PRACTICING MEDICINE!

This is by far the worst doctor's office i have ever been to. First of all, the waiting room…read moresmelled like pee, maybe it was because they make everyone pee in a cup immediately when you get there and leave it on the counter. It was dark dingy and smelly and hot. Second - i waited AN HOUR AND A HALF to be called...what the hell is point of making an appointment? No only that, but after the lady finally calls me in, she freakin leaves me in the gyno room wearing the stupid hospital gown thing for 20 minutes. I recently called to try and get a prescription i really needed and they got back to me 5 hours later, only after i bothered them four times. apparently Dr. Falzon was "very busy" I would understand if she was amazing or something but my nurse practioner at my college's health services was way better. so basically, never going back and would NEVER recommend this place.
