Oh. My. Goodness! I had scheduled a couple of massages for my husband who suffers from chronic pain…read moreand he had nothing but great things to say about Susie so when he scheduled one for me I was excited. Susie has a nice relaxing room with dim lights and soothing music. Before starting we discussed the type of pressure appropriate for my body which she executed flawlessly. Some spots required a bit firmer hand and Susie found the pressure points and worked the muscles through. The lotion she uses is a light fragrance and isn't greasy; nothing heavy or overpowering. The Beauty Lounge, which is the location Susie practices out of has an easy vibe to it and nothing pretentious. The only issue I have is if the next massage will be for myself or my husband Well done and relaxing appointment. Enjoy.

After that first one, I knew I had found a true massage artist and I have scheduled several massages since then. I even gave my daughter a massage with Carri and my daughter, who is very picky about massage, said it was the best she had every had! A massage by Carri is all that one could wish for. She welcomes you with a gentle and genuine smile, treats you like a beloved guest and listens well to what you need. She adjusts the pressure of massage according to your wishes and her hands seem truly intuitive about where the tension and pain is. I have never liked massage therapists who feel the need to talk constantly, interrupting my opportunity to "float away" and thankfully Carri understands that. I highly recommend Carri Newhouse as one of the best massage therapists in the area!

I had a great experience at Authentic Thai Massage By Patti…read more I walked out feeling amazing--completely relaxed, and all the muscle soreness I came in with was gone without that post-massage "beat up" feeling you sometimes get. I went with a traditional Thai massage, and it was exactly what I was hoping for: deep, intentional work with a lot of stretching. She even got up on the table to really lean in and get the pressure where it needed to be. No walking on my back, but honestly, she didn't need to--she got plenty of depth without it. The therapist was very friendly and professional. She took the time upfront to ask about my goals, any health issues, and specific areas of pain, which I always appreciate. She does have a fairly strong accent, so I had to focus a bit more at times, but her English is excellent and it didn't take away from the experience at all. I also want to note how professional she was on a personal level. She shared that she had recently gone through a significant loss, and despite that, she remained fully present, kind, and focused throughout the session. That level of dedication really stood out. The environment was spot on. The waiting area was calm and comfortable with a relaxing video playing, and the massage room itself was just right--soothing music, perfect lighting (not too bright, not too dark), and thankfully not overly perfumed. Pricing was actually lower than I expected, especially for the quality of the massage. Definitely felt like a good value. One note: if you like deep tissue work, this is your place. I specifically asked for deep pressure, and she delivered. It got intense at times--but in the best way. In my opinion, a truly therapeutic massage should hurt a little... the ends justify the means, and in this case, they absolutely did. I was planning to go back in two weeks, but honestly, she did such a good job I didn't feel like I needed to. I'm just now starting to feel due again, so I'll be booking another appointment soon. I've already recommended her to several colleagues and even a few of my own patients. I'll definitely be back.
