Covid Edition: I had my first reiki session with JEN back in November. She is amazing and has helped me work through blockages in my heart chakra, as well as working through self doubt/worth. At the time I was able to schedule a session with Jen directly, she took all precautions to make sure I was comfortable during our 1 on 1 session. Just completed the Reiki Mentorship Class. This class is full of information and scenarios to help build and flourish your Reiki Practice. The remote class meets once a month online, where Dawn shares the content and takes questions from the students. This class was very informative in that it deals with things that will come up in or around a Reiki Session. It breaks down the verbiage so that you feel comfortable and confident explaining and practicing this healing art. Lighting up the world one candle at a time! An incredibly relaxing and centering excercise for really any type of personality. Dawn can simplify mental obstacles that same glacier-like in size down to mere easy pebbles you can pick up and skip across the water. I first sought out Dawn at The Zen Room with the intention to relax and promote work-life balance as my career revolves around a fast-paced specialty surgical hospital in Los Angeles. Unbeknownst to her, prior to my appointment I received news from my Optometrist that I had early visual field loss concerning for glaucoma. During a single remote Reiki Energy Session, not only did I feel relaxation but also to my surprise experienced an immediate release of pressure behind my eyes as if we had 'created space again.'
