A hidden GEM in Morgan Hill: peaceful, CLEAN, and filled with an array of friendly people…read more I travelled from Los Angeles to San Jose, specifically to visit the Dhammakaya Meditation Center. What a great experience indeed! I've been to many Dhammakaya meditation centers throughout the US and I've got to say this location is one of the most tranquil location with the friendliest and welcoming people. This place is so peaceful and simply the PERFECT place to practice meditation. I wish I lived closer!!! :) *WORLD PEACE through INNER PEACE* Can't wait to go back and attend the *Middle Way Meditation* sessions on SATURDAYS! The Guided meditation sessions are open to ALL ages, all ethnic background s, all religions + conducted in English, and most importantly FREE of charge! Yayyyy! (",)

I am so glad that they now open for public daily. They have meditation classes everyday from 9:30 am to 8:30 pm. The teaching monks are very friendly. I'm not only learn how to meditate, but also always get some takeaway to use in my daily life. I can see that my life is happier and more positive since I practice meditation with them. Their classes are not in the main chapel, the first building you see. Go inside to the building behind and you will see their staff or the monk who is ready to welcome you. If you don't see anyone, please be patient. Their will be someone to assist you. If you live in Morgan Hill or nearby, I highly recommended you to stop by and give it a try.

The main entrance was completely chained up, and the grounds looked entirely deserted. While there are older mentions of a multi-year reconstruction project started around 2022, it is deeply frustrating that there is no current signage, status update, or warning for visitors. Their official website is primarily in Vietnamese, and the limited English sections make no mention whatsoever of a total public closure. If you are planning a trip here, please be warned that it appears closed to the public with no clear timeline for reopening or completion. I sincerely hope the temple management updates their online English platforms soon so other travelers don't waste hours on a long drive.

This Vietnamese buddhist temple is a great meditation center set on Mount Madonna in Watsonville…read morewhere the street ends on Summit Road, a scary drive for sure with seemingly endless twists and turns. When we got to the top, the sign said "closed due to construction work" but the gate was open, so we entered, and there was plenty of parking and we found several other visitors on site as well. The monastery and surrounding area were beautiful with tall trees, lots of greenery, so many buddha statues large and small, peacocks, deer, a gazebo, a restroom, areas for worship and prayer, and a dining area where we were invited to share a meal with the monks. But the place seemed lacking in maintenance and cleanliness, even considering that it was "under construction". To make matters worse, flies and mosquitos were abundant making it hard to have a snack outdoors. Also, though the animals on site added some charm to our visit, the cawing of the birds was relentless during the hour we were there. Besides that, the main draw was still the quietude in our surroundings. With the current "under construction" condition, I'm not sure it's worth the scary winding roads required to get here. That being said, it's a lovely place to visit, and I would certainly return on better days.

Nicole is an extraordinary healer, and I feel so grateful to have found her. I've had the privilege…read moreof working with her through Reiki, breathwork, and one of her retreats, and each experience has been deeply meaningful in its own way. What sets Nicole apart is how present she is with you. She has this gift of truly listening -- not just to what you tell her, but to what you actually need, even when you can't quite put it into words yourself. I've walked into sessions unsure of what I was looking for, and somehow she just knows how to meet me exactly where I am. Her Reiki sessions leave me feeling lighter and more grounded than I knew was possible. Her breathwork has helped me release things I didn't even realize I was holding onto. And her retreats are a whole other level -- she creates such a warm, safe space for people to really open up and heal. Beyond her skill, Nicole is just a genuinely kind and loving person. You can tell this work isn't just a job for her -- it's her calling. If you're even a little curious about Reiki, breathwork, or one of her retreats, trust me: go. You'll leave changed for the better. So grateful for Nicole and everything she's helped me discover about myself.

After my second session something inside me had already started to change. My heart felt lighter, and it was easier to breathe. Nicole is also a very sweet soul. I intend to continue with the reiki healing. She has centered my soul and I feel okay in my own skin again. I highly recommend trying reiki if you feel disconnected. Nicole is really amazing at this!!
