When i arrived at the shop the woman in charge was obviously annoyed that I was there and asked what I needed. I started explaining about the Groupon voucher that I had but before I could finish she abruptly said"I don't take those anymore. I told Groupon to take the promotion down. After repeating this several times I just left. While I understand that she might have a problem with Groupon she had no need to be rude to me. She very easily could have offered me some sort of conditioning that I would have paid for. She lost a potential customer and I suggest you do not go there.

How I regret going there. Melissa is a nice person. But at the risk of sounding vain, she destroyed my look. I have naturally curly hair that takes forever to grow. I had spent YEARS growing it out and finally loved the length. I requested a trim throughout, with some shaping in the front. She started out just snipping a little here, a little there, but she just kept going and going and going. When she turned me around to the mirror I had to fight back tears. My locks that reached half-way down my back were now at my shoulders. I couldn't understand how any stylist would take it upon themselves to make such a drastic change without 100% getting the client's by-in. She took a lot of time with me, used nice products and I could tell she was really working. But she was also struggling. She really wasn't able to work with my hair texture. When she asked what I thought, of course I commented on the extremely short length. She actually disagreed and argued that it wasn't that much shorter. When my husband saw me later that day, he said "Sweetheart, why did you let them do that to you?" And this is a man who doesn't notice hair. So I do not think it was all in my head. The girls at work, nor my closest friends could believe it. It's been about 2 months since and it has grown in a little bit but my long locks that took me years to grow are gone. I am sure she means well and I'm sure there are plenty of women who are just fine with the services here. I hate to give a hard working salon a bad name, but I will never go there again.
