Growing up, I used to visit my grandparents in a small town in Kansas. In that town, there was a jewelry store in an old bank building. I used to live going in their because the people were so nice and the building was so cool. My grandparents knew I liked going in and always found a reason for us to go when I visited. Something about Bermuda Gold & Silver takes me back to that and puts it in the forefront of my mind. The folks here are friendly and helpful and can consult with you on custom jewelry that you might be dreaming about. They are really good about taking someone's idea or concept and making it a reality for them. They also repair jewelry, which has come in handy a time or two for me as well. An unexpected phenomenal experience. Went in with a local, her most favorite jewelry shop in Texas, and now I know why. Charm and historical significance for days; in addition to gorgeous selection of jewelry! Thereafter, the service was absolutely impeccable! They've got something for everyone, in every price range. They kindly offered to clean our jewelry, we left something for repair and then spent a half hour listening to the jewelry woman's (Debbie?) historical stories and passion for her beloved state of Texas. I've used Bermuda on odd occasions for sizing or repair. In 2023 I had a pearl ring sized and requested to have it back in a week, before I took a trip. It wasn't ready in a week, but nearly a month passed and I did not hear on the status. When I called, it was apparent they had no idea what the status was so I got a call back that it wasn't back from Dallas. First, I had no idea my ring was shipped off, second Bermuda did not bother to follow up on a piece they sent out when I thought I was supporting local business. I received no apology when I paid and picked up my ring. In fact the attitude was such that I wrote my first ever poor review. Bermuda posted that the matter had been "sorted", but still no apology and I updated my 2023 post as such. Only after by Updated Review was there an apology and a refund for the poor handling. In 2010 I had bought a lovely consignment diamond ring from Bermuda. This week, 14yrs later, I decided it was time for a change and having bought the ring from Bermuda, a "Custom and Consignment Jeweler" and Bermuda knowing the history from their records, I took the ring to Bermuda for consignment. Debbie recalled the 2023 incident and reminded me the cost was refunded and she agreed to put the diamond ring for consignment. Three days later she called me to say she could not display my ring until I "take down" my 2023 negative Review in the sizing incident. I immediately retrieved the consigned ring. The implication was clear. Reviewing Bermuda negative reviews, there seems to be a reluctance to apologize and accept responsibility. Everyone makes mistakes, Bermuda has a problem with taking Ownership of their mistakes. read more

The ladies are nice, but one of the sales associates didn't even know what morganite was when I had asked to see a particular piece. Her customer service was really awful, too, and when another lady asked to try on a ring, RIGHT after she left and RIGHT in front of me, she was telling the store owner how she doesn't want the woman to come back and buy it because she wants it all for herself. Then she tried it on and paraded around. It was so off-putting. And to think I was considering buying something here.... Um.....NO NO NO NO NO. Note to Owner: Please staff your associates appropriately. They should know which stones are which, and it's insulting to your customers when your customers can't have a knowledgeable conversation with the sales people. Also, please don't have your associates be bratty and talk about people as soon as they leave the store. Since this is a locally owned and operated business, I went in to give them a try when my wife's ring needed some cleaning and inspection. The prices were very fair and the service was awesome. The turn around time on the cleaning was reasonable given that they were a bit busy during the holiday season. Debi and the staff are reasonable and very cheerful; my experience was positive and I will be back. If only they would hire that Brad guy full time; I think he was only helping out the day I was there but he helped put this review at 5 stars because of his KTCK P1 knowledge. read more

This is a nice, locally owned and operated jewelry store. It is also an historic landmark, as it was once a bank that was held up by Bonnie & Clyde's clan. You can even see some of the old architecture behind the counter. I have purchased some gifts here, had my watch battery replaced and had some rings re-sized. I even had a gold ring rotarized to white gold here and it turned out beautifully. It is not a huge store like a chain or a discount store, so don't expect rows of jewelry. Initially, I went in was pleasantly helped and they cleaned my ring for free. All good. Then I left my watch to be repaired. Date: 8/9/12. A week and a half later I was called and said crystal needed to be replaced. I said ok fix it. 2 weeks later I went in and asked "Is my watch finished?". Calls were made, this was a Tuesday, and no not ready. (Attendant did not seem the least bit concerned my watch was with them for 3 weeks.) Should be ready Thursday she said. Saturday Sept 8th rolls around and at 1pm I get a call. Your watch is ready we close at 3., Closed Sun and closed Monday. I finally got my watch on 9/11. My watch was in Bermuda Triangle!!
