Rachel worked with me for about eight weeks and provided an exercise plan to improve my strength and movement in my ankle. Results have been great and I'm now on the road to Recovery. Rachel has proven to be an excellent PT, very knowledgeable on my condition and explained in detail how the treatment plan would work, which was much appreciated. They are kind and compassionate, but most importantly, they are knowledgeable and patient. They exhaust all non invasive treatments before suggesting surgery - they truly want what's best for the patient. Even better is the fact most of the less invasive options (ablation, injections, etc) are done right in office, allowing for continuity of care and more expediency. I was a very anxious patient leading up to my surgery and my multiple repeated questions were answered with care and compassion. I had multiple visits with the surgeon (Dr. Eisler) before settling on surgery and feeling truly comfortable because of a less than optimal previous spine surgery (different dr). He was an active listener and participant in my care the entire time. He reassured me he would meet with as many times as necessary to make sure I felt comfortable and educated on my condition and needed surgery. I'm happy to say the majority of my pain is gone post surgery (4 months) and I have my life back. I can't thank Dr, Eisler and his team enough. Of course there was the normal healing needed over a few weeks, but overall, even I was shocked how quickly I was up and about. They are so good about checking in, providing step by step instructions, both before and after, so I never felt lost or confused. When I attempted to pre-register online the system told me that the birthdate I entered did not match what they had in their system and would not let me proceed. I called the office and told them about the issue, verifying my birthdate for them. The next day they called and said they had fixed the problem and to try again. I did, but the problem remained. So, the day of my appointment I arrived 25 minutes early to fill in the paperwork. I then proceeded to wait for my 10:30 appointment. At about 11:00 I was taken into an exam room and told the doctor was finishing up with his last patient and would be in shortly. And so I waited some more. After waiting for more than a full hour, I decided that we could no longer wait. I informed the staff we were leaving and asked them for my copay to be returned. At that point, I was told (again) that the doctor was finishing up and could see me soon. No thank you! I understand that "emergencies" can come up during the day's appointments, but I have decided that my time is as important as any doctor's time, and I will not wait for longer than an hour to see anyone. So doctors, fix your scheduling systems, and do what it takes to show your patients that you value them and their time. As an addendum, I was waiting with my husband, who runs his own engineering firm, and if he were to show up over an hour late for his appointments with clients, that would be a complete lack of professionalism. They may have great doctors at The Hand Center, but they are not the only game in town. I now have an appointment with another highly regarded orthopedic practice.

Only complaint is with getting release to work form on time. Workers Comp. Will not release you to…read morework with out the note. 3 surgeries and 3 nightmares try to get a release form. This office needs a better system to get these out ASAP with out the patient having to call 3 or 4 times to say "you still have not sent this to me." I have had many years of physical therapy with different groups and therapists. This place is the…read morebest and Dominic, my PT is the greatest. Last year I went to a different group where I rarely had the same therapist. I was in a large room with no privacy and often left without guidance or attention. This does not happen with Dominic. Because of insurance I had not seen him for many years. It got to the point where I didn't care if I had to pay out of pocket so I returned to the group and Physical Therapist who had helped me after several surgeries. At this place you get care from the same person each time so you don't have to explain what is going on with a new person all the time. There are public and private rooms which makes the experience more comfortable. Dominic knows what he is doing. I don't feel like he is giving me a cookie cutter plan. He really listens. He has been able to help me figure out where some really awful pain was originating from and addressing it properly. He watches and is attentive for each session as opposed to other places where a therapist had more than one patient at a time and often didn't remember what you were supposed to be there for. I am so lucky to be back in his care. My pain level has significantly decreased and I am able to increase and resume activities I thought might be lost to me forever. I am also grateful that they are now taking my insurance plan. I don't worry that I may actually get injured by my physical therapy as had happened several times in the past with other places. It is so nice to trust the person you are working with. This is the first time in many years that I have hope for leading a less painful life and resuming things that broke my heart to give up. If you are looking for a great physical therapist and place I recommend it highly.

They helped me transition from needing a knee scooter to using a boot and eventually to a shoe. They helped me regain range of motion in my foot, toes, and ankle. Every single one of the staff was extremely kind, responsive, and helpful. They work together as a team to make sure each patient gets the individual attention he/she needs. The office is open, spacious, well equipped, and welcoming. It is easy to get appointments at times that fit your schedule. I would highly recommend this facility to anyone needing physical therapy.
