do not take your car here! took my car for a basic exterior car wash and i left with $1,500 of damage to my new suv. the owner said he would pay for the damages and spoke with the body shop. he told them to order the parts but will not pay the deposit. i'd much rather have a dirty car than a damaged one plus a ton of time wasted and a lot of extra stress. read more

Not now its terrible.imma give just one star they actually dont deserve a star. read more

I have multiple vehicles that I take to Berkeley Car wash on a weekly basis. They do excellent work and the fact that they take your rubber mats out and wash them is a very nice touch. I am very particular about the cleanliness of my vehicles and they meet the standard. I go out of my way about 25 miles to get my car washed here because I feel they do a superb job. read more

I go here every weekend - staff is very professional. My car is always spotless - would recommend this car wash to everyone!! read more

Berkeley Car Wash - Done by the best - Car Wash Near Me - Berkeley Heights, New Jersey

Awful place! My mom took her car in for the "Ultimate" $23.45 wash and when she brought the car back home I thought the car wash must have been closed! Bird droppings on the roof, stains on the hood (which I later removed myself with just a wet rag).... I've never seen such a terrible job. Find someplace else, it will be worth the search! read more

I normally go to this car wash because I like the Price and they typically do a good job for what you pay. However, I went yesterday and the overall experience was not good. After waiting for 10 minutes for someone to acknowledge I was there (one person ahead of me), the guy who normally takes your "order" was rude, unaccommodating and could have cared less that I was a customer. When I brought it to the attention of the guy at the desk he said "I'm sorry. He's had a long day." It was 2pm. They open at 8. And oh...I don't care. I get that people have bad days, but to treat a customer in that manner is not ok. The car wash was average at best. I found dirt on my dashboard and the vacuum job was not great. Made me start searching for a new car wash read more

I wish I could leave less than 1 star. Absolutely terrible place. Started with stalling my car. Then also proceeded to burn my clutch out. After it was finished with the wash I inspected my car to see 3 scratches at the same level. I travel for work and barely drive my car anymore but he insisted it was when I park my car at parking lots. The staff there are terrible and the manager is worst. read more

I would like to thank all employees at Berkeley car wash 610 Springfield ave. From entering to finish you treated with respect kindness and very helpful and most of all very honest people. I was satisfied with job they did on my vehicle. Thank you read more

Worst car washed I ever had. Interior was bad but exterior was awful. I will never take my car here again.

Scratched my car!!! Furious to find a scratch on my inside windshield after getting "the ultimate" . I thought bc I have been a customer for years (no other car wash near me) they would take care of this scratch. Instead the owner was nasty and refused to take responsibility. Not only am I so angry with them, but really disappointed how they treated a long time customer. Do not waste your money with these people. read more

Worst!!! They have no pride in their work. Doesn't matter what type of cleaning you ask for, the outcome is the same every time. Wiping down with dirty rags tons of streaks left behind. Inside of car isnt even touched, looks as dirty as when you bring it in. Might as well have just left my car out in the rain. Skip this place. read more

Don't go here if you want a good cleaning for your car! Reasonably priced- yes. Quick- yes. But the quality of cleaning was not good. Very easy, visible smudges and dog hair were left behind. They just threw my floor mats back in without putting in place. Credit card machine was down- not the end of the world, I understand it happens. Bottom line- I will not return and do not recommend. read more

Charged $2 extra for a Mazda cx5 seats 4 but treated as a limo or a suburban.. Ok job but $20 is a lot. I asked .. Was told it was a truck ?!? I try and support local business .. Will go back to 22 read more

Excellent quality and services. Their car wash is very convenient and one of the few car washes where my car leaves absolutely spotless. Only car wash I use. read more

This place is awful! They washed my car and left out a floor mat and refused to give it to me. They claimed I didn't have all 4 when it came in for a wash (which is false). So now I only have 3 floor mats. :( read more

Don't even waste your money here. Spent $25 and yes, the outside of the truck is clean but the inside was barely cleaned and looks terrible. Find another place!! read more

It was pathetic. First time. I got the 22 ultimate. Total waste. So much water left. I spent 10 extra thinking it would be cared for more Now on my black x5 I have to go home and finish wiping I'm the idiot I should have known. read more

Berkeley Car Wash - So clean; done by the best! - Car Wash Near Me - Berkeley Heights, New Jersey

I will NEVER GO HERE AGAIN. Just went to get my car washed on my lunch break. There were three cars in front of me and I waited 35 MINUTES in line. I would have driven off but there is no where to even turn around or drive out of line. $16 my truck ISN'T EVEN THAT CLEAN. NEVER AGAIN. read more

Beware! Avoid! They will damage your car and say it was like that. They actually broke my driver's side power mirror off the car. When the car came out the mirror was hanging there. When I went in to talk to the owner she said "it was already broken, now leave". These people are no good! read more

Only carwash I trust to clean my mustang. They even keep ramps there for lowered cars.

They opened the windows of my car and LEFT THEM OPEN during the wash. They did not soak up all of the water that flooded my car and refused to refund my money. Guy at the cashier yelled at my wife and tried to intimidate her into just leaving. I would give zero stars if it was an option. DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I had liked this place, but it has gone way down hill. The service stinks, the people are slow and very rude! Will never come back here again. Much better places in the area!!! It's ashame, because it's convenient! Complete trash!!! read more

So I pull into the car wash at 10:55 with three cars in front of me thinking I will be out by 11:15. It is 11:23 and I am next in line to go through. I don't know what is happening today but I have never waited this long and will not do it again. One car is making it through the cycle almost every ten minutes here. read more

ATTN: BEWARE of the theives that work there! Don't GO... Had 4 packs of smokes stolen from inside my car and the management position was we didn't take them, Really, they just walked out of my car while in your car wash? Buyer be aware, this place is a rip off, just so you know! read more

Worst car wash experience ever. They marred the leather seats of my brand new vehicle. They would not admit the damage occurred there. Do not bring your vehicle here. There are so many other car wash options in the area to choose from. read more

Good car wash. Been here multiple times a week with multiple vehicles for years and I have never had a single issue. Family that owns and works here are extremely nice people that care about their clients and business. read more

As far as their work and attention to detail , they far exceed the Summit car wash. The management here actually cares. Unlike the Summit car wash , they've never thrown out neat receipt bundles. The only problem I had was that my rain guards came off and the rear windows and i didn't notice at the time. The Manager I spoke with a couple weeks later seemed was helpful even though they did not locate the rain guards. Way better service than at other car washes. read more

I've gone here a few times (mostly because it's the closest car wash to me) and every time I've been disappointed. It is not cheap and It looks like I never got a car wash. I've had to redo it myself most of the time when I got home, and even went back because the inside looked like it was untouched and still wasn't done as good as other car washes. I would rather drive a few more miles and get my money's worth. read more

Today I went for a car wash.. Usually the people behind the counter can be rude but today it was an older guy he was so sweet he stood for all this customers which I think is so respectful read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS CAR WASH. I went in for a quick car wash. One of the guys accidentally broke my antenna. The owner's sister looks at me and says you must of broke it yourself you don't look innocent! How dare she say that to a customer. They do not know how to run a business or treat customers. DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!!!!!!!! read more

HORRIBLE PLACE OF BUSINESS. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE!! They just about ripped my running board off and cut the molded plastic step area right down the middle trying to get my car on the track. When I showed it to sister of the owner she said no, they didn't do that they only use brushes. What?! The car has to be put on some type of track to be pushed through so what do brushes have to do with anything?! I explain it had to have been how they put my car on the track and she says, no you did it. What?! At no time did she even consider that something went wrong when the car was put through but instantly denied any wrong doing and blamed it on me. They took absolutely no responsibility. Oddly enough a neighbor had brought her car (Brand new - first car wash!) there earlier in the day and they some how ripped her windshield wipers off (really), scratched the paint and wheel well. Again, the owner and sister denied everything and said she did it. Again, really?!! The police were called on this occasion as the owner threatened to hit my neighbor but wouldn't since she was a woman. This is how you run a business?!!!!! SAVE YOURSELF A COSTLY TRIP AND STAY AWAY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT. Also, the price on the board before you get out of the car conveniently omits the extra $2.00 fee they slip on if you have SUV because they consider it a "truck/van/limo". Any size SUV mind you. When I asked why they say because I have a 3rd row seat and I said I'm only having the outside washed, not the insided vacummed, which he then says doesn't matter it's a truck (I drive a Acura MDX, hardly a truck, van or limo). It's just 2 bucks, but it's insane how these people treat their "customers" and trash your car. AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!!!! read more

Worst car wash I have ever gotten-did not even vacuum or wipe down the seats/carpets or middle console, dust left all over dash board, and no air freshener like they said. I'm pretty sure my mats were more dirty after they were thrown back in than when I arrived. I splurged for the highest package and might as well have hosed down the outside myself, would have been just as clean. Biggest waste of money -I will never return. read more

Was cursed at and called a liar!!!! After getting my car washed I noticed a huge scratch on the back of my car. I understand stuff like this happens and I thought getting my money back for the wash was fair enough. Insteadbof making a big deal I went inside and quietly spoke to the person at the desk. She instructed me to speak to the woman outside. The woman outside proceeded to call me a liar and curse at me in front of other customers and a child. Bad service, being cursed at and called a liar. Seems like they are nailing the whole business thing. read more

Read the 9+ not recommended reviews. Disappointed that YELP misleads people by not including those. Avoid this place. They damage your car AND then blame you. Go down to RT 22 or into Scotch Plains for a reputable car wash. You will pay more here because you will have damage to your car. read more
