Original plat boundary markers are often missing or survive only inconsistently throughout my neighborhood. I found that Bill Wenzel was able to do an enormous amount of "library" research to reconstruct the original plat survey measurements as best possible, and then apply these data to using GPS and laser survey equipment to generate an extremely accurate, reliable survey of my property. In all honesty, I didn't know that city lot histories can sometimes require this type of background research before an accurate survey can be performed. Bill stuck with his work diligently until he could point to accuracies of about 1/4 inch on his delivered survey, which was not particularly easy to provide. Bill was meticulous, and I found his rates to be very reasonable. So, yeah, I give him a very high rating.

We had a deadline to have survey done to be able to meet with the planning commission so we could get approval and get started on our massive project. He had over 6 weeks to get it done. Come due date, he doesn't answer my calls and no survey done. So now we will be at least 1-2 months behind. And being in Wisconsin you only have so many months to work outside. I just gotta ask, WTF is up with tradesmen and contractors lately? Can't even pay them to show up and do their job! Apparently this jerk doesn't need money so don't call him!
