I highly recommend Orion Land Surveyors…read more I own property in an older section of Madison, WI, that has an extremely complicated history of lot surveys. Original plat boundary markers are often missing or survive only inconsistently throughout my neighborhood. I found that Bill Wenzel was able to do an enormous amount of "library" research to reconstruct the original plat survey measurements as best possible, and then apply these data to using GPS and laser survey equipment to generate an extremely accurate, reliable survey of my property. In all honesty, I didn't know that city lot histories can sometimes require this type of background research before an accurate survey can be performed. Bill stuck with his work diligently until he could point to accuracies of about 1/4 inch on his delivered survey, which was not particularly easy to provide. Bill was meticulous, and I found his rates to be very reasonable. So, yeah, I give him a very high rating.
