Compared to the 'DIY' brunch combos that are popping up all over Copenhagen, Taxa's offerings seem a bit outdated. But then again, it's more of a neighborhood place and what they do offer is reliable. It'd be a good idea to order a few dishes and split them if you're looking for a little bit of everything, like we were - for example, choose the røræg og bacon plate, and combine it with the røræg og gront plate if you want to avoid a purely meat plate. Some things are available on the side (avocado), which was nice, and portions were generous. The service was friendly and quick when we were there.
The perks of Taxa are: good location (cozy street corner), busy but you won't have to wait in a line out the door like some other breakfast places, & breakfast fare that resembles a good diner.
