When I just barely swiped the side of my garage door with my Mazda CX-30, the front tire plastic cladding took the brunt of the damage. Instead of charging me a bunch to fix it as I was half expecting, Drew offered to do what he could to buff out the small scratches on the paint (most came out) and then looked up a replacement plastic part from a local Mazda dealer that I could go pick up myself and he'd install at no charge. Took him 10 minutes to buff and 20 minutes to install the part. I can't tell you how impressed and relieved I was at the generosity and honesty they showed to a new customer that ended up being a simple fix. Thank you Caliber! A friend told me about LaMettry's so I tried them as a comparison. The process was slick - online at first, followed by a call with a very experienced person. They asked to see the car to give me the best quote, which was much more reasonable than expected. I worked with Chris in Minnetonka, and he was upbeat, knowledgable and can-do. He was creative about fixing a broken speaker screen inside the vehicle that otherwise required replacing the entire door. We had great communication throughout the process, and when I picked up the car, Chris had gone out of his way to touch up a variety of small dings and scratches with matching paint all over the exterior. I was thrilled and grateful. My experience was incredibly good and I recommend their services enthusiastically.

When I refused and said I wanted a complete refund of the money I'd already paid for the original part, the rep told me he'd have to consult with their accounting department to process the refund. No effort on their part to make it right by offering to pay the difference for the new part, discount the repair job, or even immediately credit my bank account for the incorrect part (they had no issues charging me immediately when I paid for the part funny enough)...nothing but a shrug and a vague promise that I'd get a call from them "in a few days" to process my refund. And guess what? I haven't heard from them since. The motto at the top of their invoices reads, "Every customer leaves with a smile." Certainly was NOT the experience I had. My advice? Take your vehicle to a trusted national brand like Caliber and don't waste your time with a local shop that is sloppy, poorly managed and values their bottom line over customer satisfaction.
