Unreliable - do not call them! I had used this company before and their tech was great. I called…read morethem this time and scheduled an appointment for Friday between 11-2. At 1:30 they called to move the appt to 3-6pm. At 4:45p they called to reschedule to MONDAY! I had already missed a day of work and couldn't miss another, plus the loss of salary. After some back and forth they scheduled for Sunday 11-2. I rearranged my schedule. At noon on Sunday they called to reschedule to WEDNESDAY! Clearly they over-schedule and seem to not have enough techs to cover the work, nor do they prioritize people who they inconvenience. Do not waste your time.

I had a new door opener with sensors installed, after one year the unit stopped working…read moreproperly,i.e. would not close and it would take multiple tries to close. Tech from Doortec came by and said it works fine, I sent them the video showing how the door is functioning, got a call back to check sensors and that it is a sensor issue, which they installed!!! I called a different company (Matt's garage doors) and he checked the circuit board and found that the "travel module" was broken, and suggested to me that warranty should cover, but I have to deal with Doortec again, so instead of going back to Doortec and deal with them again, I decided to instal a new unit with Matt. I think they have an issue of inexperienced technician or this is how they do business. Would not recommend them.

I called last week to get an estimate on some new weather seal that had been damaged by us. The color and size we have is not something you can buy at a big box store or Amazon. I was just purchasing the seal, I didn't need a service call. I would even pick it up. The man that answered the phone was extremely distracted. I was put on hold several times. I had to explain what I needed each time he returned. He never asked my name. He never looked up my account. He never asked for the color. If I were to guess, he made up a price on the spot. And then put me on hold again. When he came back he asked me if I needed a service call. I had to explain ONCE AGAIN what I was calling for. He just seemed so bothered to talk with me. The price he gave me was absolutely outrageous. The fact that I had spent a lot of money on doors, opener and service didn't mean a thing. What should have been a very simple, quick transaction ended up leaving a very bad taste in my mouth. I am very active on many local social media sites and have recommended this company so, so many times since 2017. Not anymore. I was able to find exactly what I needed, double the quantity for less than half the price he threw at me. And it was delivered. How I was treated was EXACTLY what you do to not have repeat customers. Sad.
