That was all I had gone in for, and I requested no adjustments to my neck as I both had spinal surgery (fusion, C5-7) 3 years prior, had no pain or problems there since, and wanted to keep it that way. She respected my wishes, and we never had a problem. When Dr. Mary moved out of state, I moved over to Dr. Chris, who had a good reputation. Someone in my family had gone to him for years and had nothing but positives to say. My first two or three times were fine. I had also explained to him my spinal surgery and my request for no neck adjustments. I then noticed a distinct lack of professionalism the next time or two, as he primarily complained about his workload and how long his days were. Odd, but fine. Unfortunately the last straw for me was my last appointment 6 weeks ago. He performed a neck adjustment without asking. I immediately felt pain in the same spot I had my surgery and was very concerned. I hoped it would reside later, but it did not. I called back the office and came back in for x-rays. He said that he had forgotten about my medical record and request. Thankfully, the hardware was not damaged. I discussed options and what might be wrong with Dr. Chris, who apologized. I then requested he send me the notes on what we had discussed, to which he responded that there would be no way he would remember what we discussed later in the day and he was very busy with patients. I said I understood his position, but requested he understand mine that if he would not recall, how would I as a layperson recall his descriptions and medical terminology? He then jotted some notes and said he would follow-up. I waited a couple of days and called the office as he had not followed up as he said. When I still did not receive an email a couple of days later, I called again, after which Dr. Chris did email me with a summary of notes as we had discussed. The pain has persisted which has prompted a return to my surgeon's office to confirm no further damage was done. While I understand people make mistakes, forgetting your patient had significant spinal surgery and specific request to avoid this area is unacceptable. I am also concerned about the level of unprofessionalism surrounding these experiences. Further, as I had not had a day of pain since my surgery until this mistake, I am certain I will not return.

I went to see her originally because of a sports injury. Shannon quickly diagnosis the problem and made stretching suggestion to help prevent a reinjury. When I originally made an appointment, I requested a date and time online and was quickly contacted by Dr. Lehane directly. This isn't something I've experienced with any doctors office before, excellent service! At the appointment, Dr. Lehane was very approachable and took the time to explain what was going on with my back and what the treatment plan would be. After the first adjustment, I already felt relief of my back pain. Obviously results will vary patient to patient but this was huge for me. I have frequently had the late appointments or even the last appointment of the day and I have never felt rushed. I really appreciate Dr. Lehane's holistic approach to care and there has been absolutely no pressure to make frequent appointments just to collect a copay (I have heard of this tactic being done at other practices). He will recommend the level of care that is right for your specific needs. The facility is easy to find and is very clean and inviting. They have occasional Saturday appointments and later weekday appointments to fit a busy schedule. Prior to visiting her I had gone to another chiropractor who diagnosed my injury wrong after only spending 5-10 min tops with only asking me questions and then proceeding to adjust me and when a "crack" was not made they had said "I'll see you at your next appointment. Next appointment came around and 5 min in with an unsuccessful adjustment they replied "I'll see you at your next appointment". At that point I knew they were not the right people to go to. Found Evolved on Instagram later that night, their IG and website was very informative so I sent an email. Got a reply the very next morning from Rhylee and she was able to schedule me in the very next morning. First impression of this was a good sign I made the right choice. With having a bad experience with the previous chiro I was not a expecting much. But Dr. Lyndsay blew me away. Her attention to detail, patient awareness, her making me feel comfortable was nothing short of amazing. This first visit was an hr long and she took the time to understand my lifestyle and assess my injury accordingly which in turn was a completely different diagnose then what was originally thought of from the previous Dr. At the very end she was able to adjust me and that's where I lost it. I have been seeing Dr. Shea for two years now after changing from a previous chiropractor I had…read morebeen seeing for years. While I didn't mind my old chiropractor, just the activator and STIM wasn't enough for all my injuries, so I was always having to see a muscle therapist as well. Dr. Shea, however, uses both traditional chiropractic techniques as well as muscle/ligament therapy...it is the best of both worlds in only one appointment! I have lingering athletic injuries to my neck and spine, and have also been diagnosed with Post Concussive Syndromes and therefore suffer from migraine headaches frequently. While I SHOULD see Dr Shea more consistently to actually prevent flare ups, I tend to call on her when I am already hurting. But with one appointment she is usually able to set me straight again, and by the next morning I wake up pain free. Dr Shea truly knows the body and how it works, and is always able to identify what is nagging me and address the issue. She checks in with you throughout the whole process to make sure you are comfortable, and her own athletic experience clearly helps with her understanding of various aches and pains.
