Unfortunately when dealing with a 40 year old vehicle, many parts are discontinued - so you have to get the best supplemental version. Mike seamlessly did the impossible. When one part on my car broke, instead of just repairing it and charging me, he took the time to call the dealership to see if there were any recalls. It turned out the part was covered under a recall, which ended up saving me several thousand dollars! Mike always takes the time to explain what's going on, never pressures you into unnecessary repairs, and wants to help. He cares about his customers and takes pride in his work. I highly recommend Mike. He's kept my Honda running great for years, and I'm grateful to have found someone so dependable.

I had a medical EMERGENCY, it was so bad i had to pull the car over and call an ambulance. I literally pulled my car one exit before where their lot just minutes away, i'm pretty sure they just drove it by the looks of the inside everything was changed. Anyway, got charged 270 bucks for them to either drive my car or tow it so close to their lot. When i ask why so much for that such a short distance, they responded with, "everyone has to make money". HA! Yeah we all do, i worked 8 hours to make that amount of money, not 8 minutes to take advantage of someone who was sick and had to be taken to the hospital with no choice in the matter of whom was towing my car. State troopers called them i guess because they are a state authorized biz, they were there as i got in the ambulance. I made sure to call the troopers to get a report and to let them know what happened and they were sympathetic. They (Jan's) had a total attitude when i asked why so much and asked if they could work with me, and also hung up on me when i tried to call and dispute...now that i read all the reviews i totally get it!!!! One or two 1 star reviews can happen to anyone, but not this many...I hope people read the reviews if they're even going to consider hiring people who do business like this, but i'm sure not enough people do because it's usually some sort of emergency, so they're used to taking advantage of people. Oh course people have to make money and of course i was upset for the overcharging, but to me this is just ethically wrong.

If you like being blamed by owners of a business for THEIR completely wrong assessments and…read moreineptitude, then this is the place for you. Three things needed to be done and they were 0 for 3 in not only assessing what needed to be done, but repeatedly kept getting it wrong and inexplicably wanting to say it wasn't their fault that they didn't assess things as thoroughly as a professional place would. In fact, it was much worse than that, which is bad enough. But the real probem is that they simply wouldn't/can't/don't accept ANY responsibility for anything. They even came close to turning on each other when others weren't around, implying that they, specifically, wouldn't have made the mistakes that the ever-elusive and vague 'someone else' did. Don't waste your time here - the frustration they cause is exhausting and certaonly not worth the time and/or grief.
