Worst shop I could've been recommended to. The owner and his son Kyle were tremendously rude, unprofessional and racist. I came in for a bumper repair and a paint job. Not just the work didn't look right but my whole car was scratched a car that was out of the dealer brand new 2022 no scratches nothing on it just a bumper defect because someone that knows this people hit my car, I fell for their "good review" and decided to give them a shoot. I picked up my car and the paint looked terrible the whole car had scratches mind you that I always washed my car by hand and never washed my car in the machines. Kyle admitted saying that every car that comes out from his shop is washed. My car did not look washed it had dirty and a lot of remaining dust from the paint job they did. They passed a rag and didn't every washed my car that created so many marks all over it. I spoke with this people and they didn't want to face their mistakes and their unprofessional work. They laughed at me and took everything like a joke when I was so disappointed about their work and wanted a solution, they end up kicking me out of the shop, treating me less like a shit. A white costumer came and they even came outside to say hi and shake hands, when I came to pick up my car no body came out not even to show me the work they did or say hi. This to me is discrimination, he said the job he did was pretty damn good and that a new car out of the box comes with defects and scratches. If I that bought it would've seen such a thing i wouldn't have payed so much for a brand new car with "defects" Avoid coming here to leave you car they do NOT know how to was or how to treat a customer. If I could give them 0 start believe me I would of them -0 A car that just comes out washed is not supposed to look like this. read more

They did a phenomenal job in restoring damage that was done by someone to my car. They were quick, efficient, and very helpful. They even washed my car, inside and out! I truly appreciate their help. I went in for an estimate and was instead treated like a criminal being given a 3rd degree and then the guy doing the estimate basically left out damage on my fully insured with comprehensive collision coverage vehicle which I happen to pay a lot of money for. Part of the exterior damage was simply omitted and on another part of the vehicle I was advised by another adjuster at a different body shop that I had claimed that this was from previous damage which was an outright lie. I had a very harrowing experience in a torrential storm and excuse me if I could not remember every crappy detail of what and how I hit things. It was a demoralizing experience to say the least and it was like pulling teeth to get this person who acted like I was not worth his time to put things on my estimate. Not to mention the fact that he acted like he did not even care if I did repairs there or not. I don't know or care how other experiences have gone but I definitely would not recommend this place unless you were forced to go there for an estimate and then put your business elsewhere. No one deserves treatment like that. I ended up actually going to another collision shop and had no issues with another inspecting adjuster and now could not be happier with their service and attention. read more

Three times now my car has been hit while parked bc of my amazing luck. Fortunately I live close to the best auto body shop ever and they quickly and professionally restore my vehicle to absolute perfect condition! They do this so fast and they deal with the insurance companies for you which is always a relief. Hopefully I never have to use their services again but I know if I need to it will be a great experience as always. read more

I'm giving 3 out of 5 stars for G&B Auto Body because of a poor paint job that had to be re-done and unprofessional behavior toward the customer. Terry quoted me $714.73 to paint the hood of my car but said he would do it for $650 cash. WARNING !! Terry DOES NOT GIVE RECEIPTS for cash. They weren't the cheapest, F-Z Perfection in Congers would've done it for $500 but G&B does the body work for Schultz Ford so I figured they must be worth it. The job was done in 3 days and the car looked fine from a distance. Upon closer examination I noticed bumps in 4 different places, several deep scratches in the clear coat and many imperfections that can be described as "pimples" and "warts". There was even an area that I thought was a ring of clear coat with a depression in the middle - it turned out that they dinged my hood !! Terry said he would see if he could sand out the problem areas but mentioned that I'm "expecting perfection". I told him that the job they did was FAR from perfect and I shouldn't have to accept the hood the way it was. They had to repaint the hood - it came out much better the second time around, and they took care of that ding. I did notice a slight indentation in the paint and asked Terry if there was something he could do about it. Terry raised his voice and said, "OH NO, that's as far as we go, I've already spent more time on this car than it's worth so THAT'S IT !! Hey, it's not MY fault that they spent more time on the hood than they wanted to - It's THEIR FAULT they didn't do the job right in the first place !! All I asked was if there was something they could do about the indentation !! I was surprised by Terry's unprofessional attitude and his decision to put his profit above his customers needs. Then he just walked back into the store and left me standing there !! Since I already paid cash there was nothing I could do. I should've paid with my credit card so I could've had the power to deny payment. G&B's website states that customer satisfaction is most the important thing and that they strive to "meet or excel" the customers expectations - they obviously DON'T. If you don't care too much about your car and just want an O.K. paint job at a higher price then go to G&B. If you TAKE PRIDE in your vehicle and want the job done right I would strongly recommend going to another place...unless you don't mind paying more than you have to while having to make several trips bringing your car back and forth because the job wasn't done right while Terry makes you feel like you're being unreasonable !! Don't waste your time taking your new car to this facility where they practice substandard auto body repairs with limited professionalism. My 2019 vehicle now looks like a used vehicle after trusting them with the restoration. Still in the process of rectifying the issues I'm having with this shop. In the midst of a pandemic body shops are not overwhelmed with work, which speaks volumes at this time.
