He said it would take 45 minutes or so and that he would be back to the lobby at 8:30pm. He was out speaking with us at 8:25pm. It was such a wonderful relief for our family who was worried and praying, patiently waiting in the lobby. We thought a nurse would come out and give us an update but it was actually the surgeon, Dr. Hornbarger. He answered all of our questions and was understanding when it came to our concerns. He followed up with us the next day in the hospital room which was very kind of him to do, instead of just sending the nurse in, or calling us on the phone. We went in to his office 2 weeks later for a follow up, only to experience the same professional advice, expertise, and kindness that we received in the hospital. Hopefully no one in our family will need surgery again, but if we do, we will only call Dr. Hornbarger. Thanks so much Doctor!"
