All I can say is Mercedes has blessed/gifted hands! I came in with work already done, after consultation with Mercedes I found that I needed laser removal and to start a new. It was so traumatizing to hear that news so Mercedes took well over 3 hours to correct my brows without laser treatment! It takes 3 sessions, I've only had one yet they look sooooo amazing! !!! I was super nervous about getting my eyebrows done because if they go wrong, everyone can see them. I also didn't want the current style everyone is going for with shorter tails that hook downwards. Look amazing on everyone else, but I'm 47 and have a fairly strong brow line and it's just too harsh on my face. Since I'm older, sagging is inevitable and I wanted a longer, lifted, more straight tail. I loved the review of Mercedes and would have went with her; but all her pics seem to show mostly the more trendy look. (Mercedes is an absolutely amazing and caring person and extremely talented. But style was important, and I'm confident she could accommodate.) I saw Johana's own eyebrows on the website were similar to what I wanted and that she was a tattoo artist. So I went with her. I am ESTATIC that I did! She was warm, cheerful, and incredibly welcoming the very minute I walked in. She offered me tea and water and gave me a very thorough consultation. I showed her pics of how I typically wear my brows with makeup and explained exactly what I wanted and she painstakingly made sure to do exactly that, taking a lot of opportunities to correct during the mapping process. Because I wanted a more lifted and longer tail, she sort of giggled and said that she's going to call them the Legolas brows which I LOVE, because they are more elvin. (And I do often go that style including ethereal colored contacts). She was so much fun through the whole process and we giggled constantly. All the nervousness was gone well before I started and she was vigilant about making sure I felt no pain. She was adamant about them being perfect. And she told me all about the process, how it differed from regular tattoos and I learned a LOT. I was confident before she started that my brows were going to come out great and I was still surprised and estatic when I saw them when we were done. They are impossibly even better than I thought they were going to be. I am so stoked I went with her. I cannot believe how happy I am with them. My husband LOVES them, too! My pic hardly does them justice. (I suck at selfies.) But she has Instagram and I highly recommend going there to see her incredible work (especially my custom brows). I can hardly wait to go back and see what she can do with lip blushing. She's my goto artist for all my brow and lip yearly touch ups.
