When towed to a reputable garage they told me that the differential fuild was empty and completely dry. Now the whole transmission needs to be replaced. Plus both axels because the differential seized up so badly. I could have been killed on the highway when my car locked up and skidded to a stop. I have never left a bad review before for anything. This place needs to make it right.

They told me it would take an hour to identify the leak and would then send me a report. I received the report early the following day. It was easy to read and included 3 videos to help me understand the problem. It was a transmission leak and potentially quite a serious problem. They gave me a couple options and what the costs would be but recommended I take it to Mister Transmission as they had the expertise to do a rebuild which could save me quite a bit of money. I really appreciated that their priority was saving me money and not keeping the car in their shop. They also said it only took half an hour to identify the leak so that was all they charged me.

I asked if something went wrong he said they put the tires on wrong. I look at my tires and there is grease all over the rims not wiped off and the rim centre caps and the tire air caps not on. So I had to remind them to put them on. I noticed a massive dent in my metal rim 2mm deep and he also said 2 of my old tires they just took off were damaged and might leak when I swap back to them. I don't know if these 2 things were caused by them but I did not notice this stuff before. So anyway, they then dropped my car to the floor with no warning while I stood inches from it since they had just called me back in to pay. Not going back there ever.

Tech checked air filter, took it out and showed me, I took a picture to show husband as I know my husband could change - their in stock filter was $87. Checked Canadian Tire while waiting - same filter was $35 wholesale. Bill without suggested air filter was $250 (checked Canadian tire - synthetic oil was $65, air filter $35). The kicker is that the tech did not reinstall air filter properly - when my husband checked it it was bent/damaged and not even sealing properly. (have before and after pictures). Based on the price and the damage reinstalling air filter, would not use this location again.

I had called many repair shops with no luck to even be looked at as everyone was booked solid for a week. I called Minit-Tune and they said they would look at it, woohoo! I had it towed to the shop and once I got there they said they would look at it sometime that day as they too where busy with appointments all day. I was just so happy they were willing to look at it. They looked at it and said my battery was gone so they replaced that and did find out it was the battery that shorted out causing my alternator to go. Of course this is Monday and I was sleeping in my motorhome and didn't want to pay for a hotel so the owner had said we could stay in it out back of the shop for the night. Bob the owner, had parked it pretty level and gave us a power cord for power for the night and we were set. Tuesday they got an alternator in and had that changed out but it wasn't the right one. My motorhome is a 1990 so parts are hard to find for it. Tuesday they got another alternator and put that in and again it didn't work. So we stayed another night behind the shop, and Wednesday they had actually build and alternator for it and it worked!! We were on our way by 4pm Wednesday with a working motorhome. I was so pleased with Bob and all the shop guys. They worked hard on the problem even when they were all so busy. I can't thank them enough for fixing my motorhome and letting us stay out back. I would go back to Minit-Tune in heartbeat for help. They went over and above to help me out. Highly recommend this shop to anyone needing service.
