DO NOT GO HERE. The guy called me in said I'm good to go. They took 3x longer to do my seasonal tire change than what they said. I asked if something went wrong he said they put the tires on wrong. I look at my tires and there is grease all over the rims not wiped off and the rim centre caps and the tire air caps not on. So I had to remind them to put them on. I noticed a massive dent in my metal rim 2mm deep and he also said 2 of my old tires they just took off were damaged and might leak when I swap back to them. I don't know if these 2 things were caused by them but I did not notice this stuff before. So anyway, they then dropped my car to the floor with no warning while I stood inches from it since they had just called me back in to pay. Not going back there ever. read more

Took my 2014 Chevy Diesel pickup in for oil change, they charged me for their diesel oil change package - noticed the filter had an additional upcharge added so really not a package. Tech checked air filter, took it out and showed me, I took a picture to show husband as I know my husband could change - their in stock filter was $87. Checked Canadian Tire while waiting - same filter was $35 wholesale. Bill without suggested air filter was $250 (checked Canadian tire - synthetic oil was $65, air filter $35). The kicker is that the tech did not reinstall air filter properly - when my husband checked it it was bent/damaged and not even sealing properly. (have before and after pictures). Based on the price and the damage reinstalling air filter, would not use this location again. read more

They're under new management and have an entirely new team. Tried to sell me a $399 rear brake service saying it needed to be done ASAP and was almost at the rotors. Took it into Kal Tire the next day and I have 6mm left. Easily six to twelve months worth. Kings of the upsell but they lie to do it. read more

I came in in August for an oil changed in my 2012 Ram 1500. A couple months later my engine light came on . I checked the code . it said low oil pressure sensor, so I replaced the sensor. I then reset the engine light, a day later the light came back on. I checked with a mechanic at my work , he said they had put the wrong oil filter on my 2012 Ram 1500, it was meant for a 2013 and newer Ram 1500. These are smaller filters less oil flow, so I contacted Mr. Lube Maple Ridge. They said come in they will order the proper Frame OEM filter, this was Dec.10/2022I went in the next day to have it installed and the Manger on shift Pavin said he would take care of it. This was after waiting 30 min. inline. So when I finally got in, I said can I see the filter to check the part number. They had ordered the wrong filter, so I waited with my girlfriend 45 minutes for the proper one to show up. When it showed up, I said to the manager " so am I getting a new oil change " he said "no, we will just top up the oil" I said "seriously after waiting over an hour and paying $80 for a new oil pressure sensor" He said "no, only if you want to pay" I said " no, how about new wiper blades' and he agreed. I thought for my inconvenience I would get a free oil change. Very unprofessional, I will never go to this Mr. Lube ever again. Mike B. read more

*ABSOLUTLEY DO NOT GO HERE* Paid $100 + here for an oil change only to find out when I took it to a mechanic a month later because it was making a noise, the mechanic told me that not only did they not put in synthetic oil, which I paid for, but they didn't put any oil in at all. It was low 1.5 liters and I do not have a leak meaning that I paid for an oil change that they didn't perform. They didn't even put the effort in to top it up. DISGUSTING HORRIBLE UNPROFESSIONAL CROOKS. They should be shut down and criminally charged as I am positive I am not the only one to experience this, whether people know it or not. read more

I explained my issues and was not even offered any apology for my time to return for a second visit to repair what they screwed up!! I will not recommend this Mr lube to anyone unless they want a poor experience!! Don't even bother with this place!! read more

I had an awful experience at this location. Made a complaint in store and to head office and I have yet to hear back and based on others experiences, I doubt I will so now I'll post my experience. Long story short - the trainee tech broke my dipstick, told me it was already broken (which it wasn't) and the manager (James Boyle) met my concerns with confrontation. He yelled at me "do you want an oil change or not?" In front of my child. He has zero people skills and is a horrible customer service manager. Don't go here if you appreciate good customer service or being treated respectfully. I was respectful to him the entire time and he treated me like garbage. The company as a whole failed to address my concerns, starting from the manager to head office. Save your money and spend it somewhere that cares. Edited to add: I heard back from the owner today. Not impressed with the manager still as he told the owner a different story than what actually happened, but did receive an apology from the owner. He did offer to compensate me as well. The owner sounds like a nice guy and cares about his business. I still won't be returning due to the manager. read more

Brought my truck into Mr. lube they change the oil filter gave me an option to upgrade my oil which I did because I know good oil means you at your engines going to run well I'm thankful that the dutiful check on my vehicle they checked all my lights found a burnt out taillight they fixed it for me yeah I was 10 bucks but if I had to drive and by the bulb myself it would've cost a lot more than that so I'm very grateful that there are even willing to do a check up on my car they did a transmission flush that went really well prices comparable to garage and do good job gave me coffee and a newspaper while I waited, goo experience good guys!! read more

Took my car in to this location at almost closing time. I was surprised by an expected flat tire (who actually expects a flat tire). The staff was great, checked the tire, found it to be damaged beyond repair. Even though, they had the opportunity to try and sell me a new tire, instead, they put on my spare, checked all the other tires and recommended that I go back to where I bought the tires, which was only two months prior. Their concern for my safety and that of my young passengers was refreshing, especially in this day and age where the almighty buck seems to outshine common decency and everyone wants their share. When I asked about how much the bill was, the young man said "no charge, we didn't do anything" Seriously? You totally made my day! I know where I will be going for future oil changes. I just wanted to let everyone know that although this is franchise the quality of service is not consistent. This location was superb! Of course they tried to upsell me but were quickly able to acknowledge the great care I take with my 23 year old car and stuck with the service I asked for. Awesome exemplary service by location. Taylor was AMAZING!! Light had gone on in BMW 528 Xi to top up engine coolant. I have never seen such a message like this on my display and therefore didn't know what to do I called Mr. lube and Taylor picked up the phone and said don't worry about it bring the car and will take care of it for you as soon as I got here she came right away assisted me and made sure that I was taken care of, asked me if I wanted a newspaper or coffee while I wait :):). I'm definitely coming back here again if I need any more assistance with my car! read more
