Can't go wrong going on nice summer day. The trees provide plenty of shade, it's spread out so not cramped with others, and also some tents if needed. Beers were all really well done. Didn't try any of the food cart. Service was nice and friendly. Only issues are the taster tray is horribly done using the small plastic cups so can spill a decent amount while walking (using small goblets would be better). Also all their beers come in single use plastic cups (no differing trash vs recycle either) so would be nice to see something reusable especially when considering they wouldn't have their space if not respecting nature.

This is the third time we've stopped in here and left disappointed. First time we ended up leaving without even ordering because our server never came back to take our orders. The 4 of us waited about 20 minutes, in a mostly empty restaurant, and decided to leave. Second time it took a very, very, long time to get our order taken, for the food to arrive and to find our server to get the bill. In total we sat for over an hour and a half. This time, on a Friday evening, the restaurant was nearly empty, besides a few people sitting at the bar. The menu now has just a variety of sandwiches and burgers. We did try the clam chowder. It's watery and bland. The sandwiches are basic bar quality. They were served with tots that were over cooked. We noticed there's outdoor seating with a bar too. It looks nice but on a rainy Oregon day we all wanted to sit inside. Although it's located close to us it's just not a place for us. There's too many good food places nearby, with friendly service, to keep coming back to a place that's no very good.

Love the setting, didn't love the beers but I'm kind of partial to New England ipa which they didn't really have (I know I'm in the wrong part of the country). The food was really good though and loved just sitting there under these huge trees with twinkle lights!

Update as of February 2024 the restaurant is closed and for Sale /Lease. The beer garden is only open weekends.

We had Fun meeting up with friends. Lit up outdoor drinking, corn hole and fire pit to enjoy. Great beer options and my mom loves her sweatshirt.

Cold beer on a hot day.

Friendly bartender, good pizza, great outdoor space. Stopped by after playing disc golf in the area...we will be back!

One of the coolest country breweries ever. Sit among the tall pacific pines, maybe by the campfire and enjoy excellent selection of beers.

Our server served us beers that were half foam but he did realize it later on and replaced it for us. As for food, we ordered and shared everything. Definitely enjoyed the pizza! I was a little disappointed with the Caesar salad though because we ordered the regular but the portion was so small I had to double check with the server that we weren't accidentally served a small. But somehow it still took a while for our food to come out. We waited a long time for our beer also. But that wasn't the servers fault. In fact, our server did explain they had to open a new tap. Our first beers came out extremely flat and was half foam. But the server kindly replaced it for us. Overall, once the food came out, most of it was delicious. Sadly, we paid $12 for a small bowl of ceasar salad. We had to double check to make sure we didn't accidentally order the smaller one. But nope, this is all you get for $12. Our whole group loved the pizza's and wings though! Our server was excellent! We figured it may have just been an off day for the kitchen, which is why it took so long. But we'll defiantly be back!

Their ciders are great, I tried the Viking Cherry Cider and loved it so much I bought a six pack to take home, at $18 for 6 it was still absolutely well worth it. For food my coworker got the Fish and Chips, deep fried in beef tallow for those who avoid seed oils, and said it was excellent. I had a caesar salad and fries to go with my cider and it was a lovely meal. This will absolutely be one of our go-to spots when in Salem from now on.

The inside atmosphere is sports bar fabulous plenty of seating for groups or couples. We shared a juicy hazy IPA and an order of scotch eggs while sitting on the patio, which is shaded and comfortable with both picnic tables and bar-top seating. I was thrilled to find that the scotch eggs were not only delicious but also authentically prepared. The yolk was soft and slightly runny, and the crust was perfectly crisp and flavorful. This establishment is a true hidden gem. While the food prices are a little steep, the quality definitely makes it worthwhile. We will be back!

It was also in the middle of a heat wave in OR, so we asked to sit outside. After my husband snagged our table, I brought our well-trained and well-behaved Siberian with us to the patio. There was another poorly-behaved dog, but my dog could not have cared any less, and it was far enough away that it didn't bother me too much either. The outdoor seating was minimal and basic, but did the job. Thankfully there was shade from the umbrellas. I put my dog in his "tuck" command under me as he is trained to do at restaurants, and proceeded to look at the menu. To be honest, the food looked pretty good, and also smelled pretty good, as I watched other patrons get their meals. However, we were still pretty stuffed, so we settled with a beer flight. The beers were out to our table pretty quickly, but after trying them, my husband and I came to the consensus that we expected more from the only brewing company in town. As another Yelper put it, the beers fell flat for us too. I was hoping there would be more/different notes to each beer, which is the whole point of sampling multiple, but they all seemed quite monotone. It started getting pretty warm underneath our umbrella, so we quickly wrapped up our beer flight and left. The view was gorgeous, and the location splendid (hence the 4 stars), and perhaps next time I'd be down to try one of their dishes, specifically the elkburger, but I was a little disappointed in the beer. I've been to plenty of breweries to enjoy beers there and also bought craft beers/growlers for home, so I'd like to say I'm decently versed in beer, but this missed the mark.
