My niece has been represented by Ursula for nearly two years and I have nothing but nice things to say about her! Ursula and her agency have literally changed my niece's life for the better and she has been booked by Nordstrom and the NY Times Style Magazine among many others. My daughter started to work in this agency since the beginning. I have been there 3 years already and my daughter and I really love working with the agent. She is extremely passionate of her job, very selective in her choices of kids and always matching the right jobs for your kid, based on the kid strength and personality. She is supporting fully the kids with their headshots, organizing photo sessions that help with kids performances on auditions. This is the reason the agency is boutique and with Avant-guard vision. Ursula Bensimon has non- stopping enthusiasm and after all these years I have never had the feeling that she is favoring or disrespecting any child or parent. I'm sure they are great to other families but that was not the case for me. We were sent to one photoshoot. Then nothing for months. We were then dropped due to lack of jobs for his age. I don't know that was a thing. read more

My son just signed with her on the 8th of October and she has already had two photo sessions with him and got him a print job last week. She is very busy trying to help all the kids in her agency but does get back to you (usually the same day). So far, nothing but great experiences with Ursula and Bensimon Models & Talent. I have worked with Bensimon Models for a short time however, I know the owner/photographer Ursula to be very knowledgeable about the modeling and fashion industry. I know modeling is very competitive however, Ursula sees my daughter's niche and is trying to book her for her particular skills. This agency is not only a joke but very unprofessional. Ursula personally asked me to send in my kids photos and gave me her card. After 4 emails and more than 6 messages I left her ( she never answers her calls), I've never seen such unprofessional behavior. She tends to represent only those who are of same race as she is. Really? What a joke that is! We now have representation with a top firm and going strong! She should have had at least the courtesy to return one lousy email so that I would've discontinued correspondence. Bensimon Models Talent is not anything compared to agencies in NYC and LA. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME WITH URSULA! She's conceited and stuck up and has a racialist attitude stuck up her ass. Get a clue Ursula! Others that know you say not to do business with you as you're only concerned how much money goes into your pocket. This agency discriminates big time! Ursula only picks 3 types of kids....black kids with curl puffy hair, white kids with freckles or orange hair and the half asian/half white kids....thats what she means when she says "advant garde". And take note that if your kid doesnt attend the same school as her son, have a parent that works at her husband's company or dances at the San Diego dance academy then you will not get any opportunites. In addition, she will call you when she wants you to make money for her but if you try to call her she will sound annoyed and brush you off. She picks and chooses who she wants to send out on jobs and who she wants to market. She does not give every child an equal opportunity. You will see the same kids being sent out. This agency wasted my time. I have been picked up hy another agency and they provide me with tons of exposure. You and your child will have your hearts broken if you come to this agency because she makes you think you are special when she takes pictures of your child. Then you come to find out that she doesnt send you out to audition for name brands and only sent you out for pathetic jobs like a pharmacy ad thats looking for a poor and needy look. She never made any efforts to market my child. I am sure others will have sucessful stories of their child working with Ursula but again thats because they are the parents of her son's friends, works with her husband or has a child that dances at the dance academy. This agency is a joke! A model and talent agency should represent ALL their clients.....old ones and new ones! The owner only sends out the same kids and never gives other kids an opportunity. This agent/owner of the business is horrible in that she never picks up the phone or returns voice messages and email messages. Or maybe it could mean that she is avoiding and ignoring your calls. How can you call yourself an agent if you don't want to deal with people? Their contracts state that models must be available and answer calls but this agent does not do the same. Don't sign with this agent because your child will never get any exposure or jobs. The owner is horrible at multitasking. She tells you she will call you back or send you something and she never does. She asked to meet my son and took some pictures of him and it has been months and I have not heard from her regarding any jobs.
