We have been working with Ben's Custom Meat Processing for over the past 20+ years. Ben and his crew put down 3-5 head of our grass-fed critters for our customers each fall. His field crew are always on time and do a great job. They always clean up after their work. Ben's staff back in their processing facility are SPOT ON for keeping track of processing instructions and putting the packages in appropriate containers. Over the years, I have had only one issue and that was my failure for NOT writing the customers name on the top of the frozen packages when I transferred them to our coolers! We as well are super disappointed in this place. I'm sick to my stomach knowing I spend money here. Every package has been a disappointment. Do your self a favor... don't do work with them. I'll bet you money your good stuff is sitting in the show cases in the store front. So far EVERY single package has been disgusting! Today was my last straw after all the waisted steaks we have had that were too tough to really digest. To t-bones that look exactly like the ones in the other reviews. And now today... what is labeled as a "Brisket" looks like this in my pictures! What on earth are you supposed to do with this meat. Awesome place.. they butchered a half for us and everything was fantastic. The wrapping job was perfect and packing fee was 100% reasonable and a great value. I also picked up some jerky while i was there which was awesome! Icing on the cake. Will definitely use these guys again in the future! read more

The processing price was to good to be true . As it turned out , it was !!! I opened my first t-bone pack and noticed the tender side of the cut was not proportionate to what it should be . Like it was 3/4 missing . That's the part of the t-bone I live for . I wrote it off as a fluke on the first package. I opened my second package of T-Bone today. And on this one the tender side of the steak was completely gone!!! Hmmm ????? And for some reason my gut instinct is trying to tell me, not all of my prime cuts have made it into my freezer. So NO.....completely not happy with this butcher! read more

Great service, great product, fair price. I had never used the services of a butcher before, so was unsure of the process. Ben and his mobile butchers made the process very easy. I was a little unsure of the prices. He gave me the hanging weight price over the phone, but the only thing I would recommend is a price sheet online with the per pound prices of the various cuts of meat, and the cut options. read more

We have priced 5 pigs thru him and have nothing but good things to say. The bacon melts in your mouth and has really good flavor.

The owner Ben is less then professional when conducting business. His assistant is unhelpful and somewhat rude. I was quoted 3 different prices on cut and wrap, the final bill was different than the other 3 prices! Ben is hard to talk to on the phone..and DON'T ask him how to get to his place. (you'll get an earful) I was told I needed to get the meat ASAP because they needed the freezer space, (I got the call on Thursday to pick up the meat, picked it up on Saturday) Ben handed us the bill, took the meat out, grabbed the check and disappeared never to be seen again. I've dealt with a couple other butchers who were friendly and helpful but not Ben. This is a family owned business with the best jerky around! Love supporting small business especially when they go out of their way to support locals as well and Ben does!!! Works with FFA and the kids in our locals schools and always seems to put his customers needs first! It shows and it's much appreciated. read more

Processed and wrapped my 1/2. No issues. They also have bacon and pepperoni available. I'd use him again.
