Ben is old-school. My pops was a mechanic for decades, and back in the day, deals were made with a handshake. Men had honor. A person's word meant something. People were fair. Ben is like that. He will do top-notch body work for a fair price. His shop is clean, and his manner is clean and respectful. I went to him after a friend of a friend of my dad's wanted to charge me almost three times what Ben charged me. Ben is fair and honest and his work is A+ quality. My car looks as good as new. read more

If you're in the San Jose area needing body work on your car, there's no better person to go to then Ben's Auto Body shop. I highly recommend him for competent, efficient, and reasonably priced work that will leave you with a smile. My son had a fender bender that bent in the radiator core, and he was unable to latch the hood. The hood release didn't work either, and it could not be driven safely. Ben straightened out the radiator, fixed the hood latch and release so it was safe to drive again. All done exceeding expectations for time and quality. Beyond that Ben is friendly and accommodating. read more

Ben is very nice guy. We paid an out of pocket and he gave a better price that we can afford. The quality of the service is great and it looks like nothing happened to our car. I told him not I don't want to see you again but if ever we did, we will defitenely comeback. Thanks Ben. -Reina read more

Did a great job on my car after it was dented by a fallen tree. He is a very nice guy too. Will definitely recommend him

Can't believe insurance companies. 1 small damage to the frame, and your car/truck is done. But I get it "Frame". Whatever. I'm a first-time customer at Ben's Auto Body, we talked at first ( I didn't have the truck with me). Showed him pics, gave me a quote, said to bring it in, and I'll give you a better quote. Brought the truck in, said this shouldn't be a loss. But moving forward, Ben is a gentleman with 100% respect. And a has great customer service. I'm big on customer service, and he is 100% respectful. Said it was take about 2 weeks, finished in a 1 week and few days. Got the call it was done. When I picked up the truck, I teared up (truck means a lot to me). The frame is straightened, and all front ends look like I bought the truck brand new again. I'd definitely recommend all and everyone to bring in their vehicles to Ben's Auto Shop % read more

We brought our 2008 Prius to Ben's after an accident. Our insurance didn't cover the repair, so we were hoping for an affordable price. The owner welcomed us right away and quickly gave us a very fair price for the work. The hood and the fender needed to be replaced. They did amazing work, and treated us so well. I highly recommend Ben's! We will not go anywhere else for body shop repairs. read more

Had my Infiniti broken into through the sunroof, so I called a bunch of places and everyone was quoting me ridiculously high to fix it. I called Ben and explained what had happened and he offered to do it a veryyyy competitive price (mind you I had purchased the glass separately prior and brought it to them, although im sure they would've helped me locate one if needed), I was able to drop my car off the same day I called and it was ready for me to pick within a couple days. He even told me that the labor to do the job was less intensive than he had originally thought it would've been, so he offered me a discount on the already great deal! Very understanding and easy to work with. 10/10 would recommend this spot for your auto body needs. Thanks guys! read more

Completely satisfied. A tree fell on my car during last storm. Ben's estimate was way lower than some of the big collision repair places. Car was ready as promised and car looks brand new. I would very highly recommend Ben's Auto Body to anyone I know who needs auto body work. I came in needing a repair of my back bumper, as parts of it was ripped off and dangling off of the brackets. While other body shops said the repair wouldn't be possible and recommended a full bumper replacement, Ben from Ben's Auto Body quoted me a reasonable price to repair it on short notice with no frills or upsells. I really appreciated the up-forward pricing and timing estimates on top of the high quality of repair. On top of that, I mentioned initially that I didn't care about the looks and just to repair it (I had some scratches on the bumper and nearby panel), but Ben fixed the scratches and buffed it up to make it look almost brand new for free. He went above and beyond my expectations and I couldn't be happier with the job. With a friendly demeanor and excellent service, I couldn't recommend this place enough. read more

I had accidentally a hit another car in the back while driving so it affected my front bumper car to be heavily dented and basically busted open. I wanted to get my car fixed because it was too risky to drive around like that. While I was in Ben's auto shop, I also asked for the trunk of my back car to be fixed since it had a lot of old unsightly scratches. The workers here are very responsible and gave me a reasonable price for the car repair. Most other car shops overcharge unreasonable prices but not here! Few days later, I went to pick up my car and it looks really great! My car has no dents, scratches, or busted parts. It looks like a brand new car! Overall, I definitely recommend this place if you need your car to be repaired and the customer service here is fantastic! I would definitely come back here again. read more

BEN'S IS THE BEST. If you are looking for good, quick, quality service, Ben is your guy. About a year ago, my boyfriend wrecked my car. Unfortunately, he was not covered under my policy and I had no insurance help what-so-ever. The out of pocket expenses were overwhelming as I was a college student with no familial support and a bad job. On top of that, the money I had managed to save for repairs was stolen. By the time I found Ben, almost 8 months after the initial accident. I was distraught, losing hope, and thinking of selling my car for as much as it was worth just to get something that didn't have pieces hanging off (I had no passenger headlight and my front bumper and side panel were hanging off). Ben gave me a fair price nearly half of what every other shop quoted me. Ben was friendly and quick. He also allowed me to pay in intervals because he understood my situation. He's a warm guy who runs a fair business and does good work. I 100% recommend. Recently, I was rear ended, I am back again for his service and I will be for any other car repairs or questions. read more
